The page turner is indeed well worth buying because it allows me to keep my hands warm under the covers while still reading deep into the night. I am glad that I am not the only one who will purchase physical books even if I have it on Kindle. They are two very different reading experiences. I tend to buy the physical book only if I truly LOVED the book when I read it on Kindle.
It’d be great if you could do a video on the best libraries that anyone in the US can join, even if it’s a fee. My library is very limited on audiobooks.
Broward county accepts you even if you don't live there and they have a great selection. You can sign up online and they will email you your library card.
Love how you're one of the few book accessory vids that are at least trying to be realistic as far as cost. Love a good splurge once in a while, but I think it's great you're trying to make being a 'book girl' more accessible for kids/ teenagers or college students who don't necessarily have a regular income. Or just those of us who are broke, or are just tired of all the over-consumption that social media promotes.
I just discovered your page and I really loved the suggestions you gave! I just got back into reading as a hobby a few months ago, and I’m still finding my style and preferences. Your suggestions have given me some great ideas to incorporate on my bookish journey. Thanks for making this video! 🎀🎀
I loooove my mount and clickers!! I personally have two because I lose things a lot, and wanted to be able to set up in my room and living room without moving the mount/clickers each time. But I do have two e-readers 🫣 only because kobo came out with a color version and I wanted to read manga in color! Anyway so yeah I have one in my most frequented rooms in my house and it’s rad af!
🎀 I’m a mood reader, my preference regarding annotations is that my first read through I’ll annotate emotions. Happy, sad, laughed, angry, aha/deep moments. Second read through is when I look for plot connections, tab lore or world building, etc. if I do reread it (I’ll have tabs on the side for one read, and tabs hanging out the top for another) I’ve had people comment on my books that it looks like a bible with all the tabs I have 😂 but I just wanted to share my preference in case anyone else might be able to relate and want a unique way to tab/annotate while reading. Took me a while to get to this method because I thought I had to tab character development and stuff on my first read to be a “true book girl” or “annotater” after having done the mood/feeling method for so long. I thought I was doing it wrong and then that made reading a chore and I stopped annotating for a while which kinda bummed me out. That was the biggest, and sillyest, hurdle for me. Love that you brought to the forefront your method of annotating on the second read which inspired me to share my own style ❤
I really enjoyed your video and I love amping up my reading experience as a bookworm. I love having a Kindle as well as physical books. I am planning to get a clicker at some point and maybe even a holder with a stand so that I don't have to hold my Kindle if I'm reading in bed. I was tabbing books regularly for a while though lately have been listening to audiobooks or reading on my Kindle so I hope to get back into tabbing at some point. I don't generally write or highlight most of my books though I have with physical ARCs that I've received. I do love that I can write on tabs from books that I don't generally write in though so when I revisit books, I can read what I wrote. Those look like cool highlighters and tabs, both of which I just might put in my cart and "accidentally" buy! My favorite highlighters are the Double Ended Zebra Midliner and I have most of the colors. 🎀
I have the kindle app on my iPad - I love having 1 device when I travel. I wholeheartedly agree with the KIndle unlimited subscription. I weirdly find a ton of great books from the KU ads on facebook 🙂
Heads up to people new to Libby. It is not 21 days for everyone. It depends on the library system that you have a library card at. For example: I still have my hometown library card (12 location system) & I get 21 days. But the system that I have a card from in my current area- I only have 14 days. Another, much smaller, system in a nearby town will only allow 10 days.
For audiobooks (and e-books), Everand (formerly Scribd) is well worth the price. It doesn’t send books to Kindle, but if you are in it for audiobooks anyway then that is no biggie.
Hello thank you for sharing! If I may I would like to recommend Erin Condren highlighters. They are amazing! They are long lasting and they do not bleed! Have a great day and thanks again 😊 🎀🎀🎀
I pay yearly for my Audible subscription, because it takes me months to get through all of the 12 credits thanks in part to Whispersync and Hoopla/Libby.

Same! I have 2 page clickers and tablet mounts, one for the living room and one for in bed!
It’s honestly smarter to buy books this way
I just got the pink clicker for when I go to the gym & read on the treadmill 🎀
Such a good idea!!
Wow what a great idea
Ooohhh I never thought of using it at the gym! I just do audio books.
I'm envious of your bookcases. Enjoyed your video
I’m legally blind and I absolutely love KU and my kindle fire

I’ve had a Kindle unlimited subscription for years. I wouldn’t know what I would do without it.🎀
Fun video! Love it. I so wish we had the ability to link a kindle to our Libby/library account in Canada. But it does not work here. Maybe someday!
Maybe one day!
Don't forget there a few websites that you can find free books or nearly free, too if you sign up for the email lists.
🎀 great info! Thanks

One other product that I love is the neck lights. For reading a physical book in bed at night. 🎀🎀🎀
How do you get library card if I’m not from the US ?
