    I really wish this package was available last year. 40hp would turn my current lx2610 into a true workhorse, without getting bogged down going up hills under load. The quieter transmission is a big seller as well. With that said, I’m very happy with my lx2610, it’s a fantastic machine for its size and can get in and out of very tight locations.

    Love these new LXxx20 models. Have a '17 B2650 that is running strong. Does most things I need. Do like the wider wheelbase of the x20 as I added wheel spacers to the B. Also would like the front end loader to be a bit more stout (sturdy & durable) with more lift capacity. Been considering a L3902 though I wish it offered tilt steering. Like it because it is heavier, just slightly larger vs my B which should make it nearly as nimble with a bit more capability.

      Heavy clay soil gives my tiller a workout. More power would help with tilling and increased power hopefully will increase lift capacity when moving firewood and pallets of concrete blocks for retaining wall projects. The 3310 has done well for a compact tractor, but more power in the same frame size is always a good thing. I am glad I got the 3310 over the 2610. Same reason my GMC 1/2 ton has the 6.2 L gas engine, more power over the 5.3 L. Hope that helps.@@acollegekid

    I am likely trading my LX2610 for an LX3520. One of the items I really dislike on my LX2610 is the rear hydraulics, set up with 1/4” couplers tucked way under the fender. Have you seen the kit for the rear hydraulics? I’m considering whether a 3 spool Summit kit would be a better bet. I use the rear remotes for a flail with hydraulic tilt and shift, but also want to use a hydraulic top link.

    Seems like a great tractor and step up (especially the wider front axle/loader). Pricing seems very high though; pricing out from Kubota's site a Grand L L3560 (LE) and LX3520 the pricing looked like it was within $1-2k for roughly similar setups. Will that keep these LX as "niche" products where weight/size are a top priority, and drive more sales to the L3560 with its "nicer" features?

    • @HawaiiSustainable
      @HawaiiSustainable 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Does the L60 series have a mid PTO? Looking at the base price without adding anything, the LX3520SU (version without the mid PTO) is about $5k cheaper than the L60. The standard LX3520 with the mid PTO looks to be about $2k cheaper. For that money it probably makes sense to go tot he larger machine unless you need the smaller package.

    Hey Neil, I thought that Mike Morgan said that his cab model LX4020 has a true third function, not exactly sure what he means by that, maybe you can help explain? Thanks

    • @andysworld2188
      @andysworld2188 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I believe Kubota uses true 3rd function on all their tractors.
      Some companies when selling a tractor use whats called a diverter or diverter valve to "mimic " 3rd function capabilities like closing the jaws on a grapple. With the diverter it diverts flow from another function on your loader valve to operate such as usually it is hooked up to the bucket curl function. You would hit the diverter valve to turn it on and move your loader valve as if you were curling your bucket and your jaws would move. Turn the diverter valve off and it would tilt or curl the grapple like normal. So you can only do one function or motion at one time and the loader valve would have to take turns on what it was able to do.
      With a true 3rd function you can open or close the jaws while lifting your boom and curling/tilting the grapple all at the same time. Instead of diverting the hydraulic flow it shares it instead. You have 2 additional buttons on the loader valve to operate the 3rd function. 1 would be open jaws on the grapple and the other would close them.
