En ce moment je regarde la version française de 2017 et peu à peu ,je révise mon premier jugement qui était plûtot ...négatif ! Je ne peux pas dire que j'adhère à 100% ( costumes , décors .... ) mais grâce à vos explications ,Je la comprend Merci !!!!
Just depressing how good singers have to justify all the stupidity modern directors do when staging operas now. And what about the singing? Well, that does not seem to be important, but Kurzak, a good light lyric soprano, does not have a voice type for Isabelle de Valois. Listen to her singing this role and check by yourselves. They form a lovely pair, though.
