I have had some problems, I feel that there is some friction, I do not know where they have made me think that it is the wrong balls ... in the Dura Ace Shimano, they are 1/4 Grade 25 balls, anyway .. .I will try this change, greetings!
I'm using 1/4 x 7 for rear, 3/16 x 7 for front... Usually for the rear hub it should fit 1/4, 3/16 for front... Friction that u feel maybe comes from inner cap that sit on the bearing or from hub itself or probably u over tighten the shaft...
Yup for me it depends on what route u have, on tarmac I choose for cage bearing coz i can gain better speed rather than loose bearings best for gravel coz it much stronger... Next time mybe I want to try using ball bearing perhaps I can get more speed than this

i think loose ball still the best cuz it has much ball and stronger but cage ball more convenient
