These EA80c are my favorite Maton sound... even more so than the EM100 or ER90... the Bunya top allows more resonance than a more dense Spruce that mildly compresses the mids.

If I shut my eyes they sound just like a Guild D40, big clear bottom end and shimmer in the mid, well played too.
