Yun players don't use it that much outside of genei jin. In genei jin it is ridiculously good since the opponent will most likely be freezed blocking, and the followup combo after command grab can potentially build like 30% meter
yun has genei jin and up kicks for more opportunities. It's still a good option for yang, they'll just have less chances to use it cause they don't get block pressure as easily

It is! Yang especially if you link with Down MK + EX-Tourou Zan. The stun bar goes all the way up easily 💀💀💀

My guess is because slashes are already stupid good on their own and grab scales them. So they mainly pull them out as a ace in the sleeve.
