Spriggan has made it over to the QuadDrive product line! The question is....is it good? I think we all know the answer, but we have to show a bit of love for our QuadDrive products as it does fill in a market gap that Takara Tomy doesn't provide over here 😂. QuadDrive will at least leave room for some big improvements in the Pro Series lineup, so it's not all bad! Either way, it's always nice to see a Spryzen/Spriggan Bey!
Honestly, Astral Spryzen wasn't even disappointing, but outright depressive. Hasbro really seems to challenge themselves on how to make the beys worse and worse.
Just like you said, by just looking at it, by just imagining that I buy it I fell that I will get depressed. This makes me so uncomfortable that I am seriously thinking of buying the original one which costs so much more, but takara Tomy is QUALITY!
Take note: they didn't advertise the dual spin capabilities due to the chip being stuck in left. The blade got the same dual spin gimmick as World and Lord

But you can still put Current Hasbro and Takara Tomy Beys side by side and you'll see how hasbro dropped the quality department on everything in QD. Let's take Astral Spryzen as a clear example Astral Spriggan (or Spryzen) has supposed to have a Mode changing Gimmick on the core to go Left or Right spin. The Blade is supposed tobe a Flippable Blade depending on which spin direction you want. and the Driver is supposed tobe having 4 modes. What hasbro did is, They sacrificed the Gimmick on the driver for their precious QuadDrive System, they also made the Spryzen core only on left spin. The blade is still left and right spin, but they hollowed out the blade on the bottom. And they made the Armor, Plastic. About the Disc. They hollowed it out also.
The Beys being butt cheeks are bad enough, but at this point, it almost feels like Hasbro is intentionally trying to make its products look absolutely horrible.
it’s all about profits, kids still buy these beys because they’re kids, and they can sell them for more than previous generations, while spending less money actually creating the product

I have something to say, Hasbro made the blade (or whatever Hasbro calls the blade in Quadrive) dual spin but the drive chip isn’t, so the only way to make the astral blade spin towards the right is put a right spinning drive chip on the astral blade. (like Valkyrie or something like that)
I was already on the fence about getting hasbro quad drive beys... 😔😔😔 all we wanted was the right colours, parts and gimmicks! That's what makes beyblade fun!
The Quattro armor tip is supposed to be perma-fused into the Unite mode and yet they couldn't even pull *that* off and instead just turned it into yet another fusion-like tip with no benefits. At least Wave had the smooth, wide plate around it to boost LAD, Quattro just doesn't even have that going for it. And out of *ALL* the Spriggans they could've chosen to not be Dual-Spin, it had to be Astral? And it's not like the whole thing is Left-Spin only either, it's *JUST* the core that's Left-Spin only. The Astral blade itself is still Dual-Spin. Sure, you can just choke it down by saying "Hey at least there's Pro Series." but you shouldn't even have to *have* that mindset in the first place if they could just *do it right the first time around* There's no excuse anymore, this shouldn't be encouraged and I really wish more Beytubers like you guys would actually say something instead of just shrugging it off as "Oh well, wait for Pro Series ig." When are we even going to realistically see an Astral Spryzen Pro release? Probably not for years with the way they're milking GT for all its worth when it's too little too late at this point and they're too slow to make waiting a worthwhile option. You'd be better off just going through the trouble of actually buying the Astral Spriggan Customize Set.
They make crap like this, price it way too high, and get away with it since if you're from North America the only beyblades you can buy are Hasbro. Every Spryzen Bey from the last 3 seasons has been so horribly adapted with the lack of rubber, dual rotation, etc, from their respective Takara counterpart that its actually kinda funny. Hasbro be removing features like a an army taking over each and every city in a country💀
I understand the main toyline and Pro Series are different and the latter will lag behind but we really need the pro series to ramp it up already! We still don’t have any Sparking beys under the pro series toyline!!

Damn yeah, my son was super disappointed with his first ever bey especially since I'm the one that bought it. I'm from OG era of Dranzer, Driger with the pro Launcher so it's pretty disappointing showing him my childhood. Glad to know TT is the way to go though.
Did you know that hasbro says genesis is a stamina type when it's a defence type. It says in the show and the layer looks like a defence layer even the beyblade burst app says it's a stamina.

I recently started getting tt beys, my last 2 Hasbrouck ones being turbo fafnir and pro series devolos, and lord are the tt versions so much nicer, rn I have vanish, as well as Astral springgan and the cyclone belial that came with it.
This Spryzen is just wow. What the freak? How are they still making money from removing essential gimmicks that make they beyblade good. I have Hasbro Quad Drive Fafnir and it can't spin steal. Its absolutely horrible. Fafnir isn't even an attack type and you still get the option to put it in Attack mode. My Fafir combo based on the three Fafnirs I own (Geist, Mirage, Vanish) Mirage Fafnir, Tp, Absorb. And why is Tp on a Fafnir beyblade? Just why? Companies will do anything for money. ANYTHING!! It's truly sad.

I switched the plastic part with a metal part so it's heavier and has more defence, i also switched the tip which has more stamina

The disc mountings aren't on the layer anymore; they're located on the core.
