When I learn how to make Add-ons I shall make a moth add on of every moth I know and I’ll just let u tame it with sugar water you can’t ride them but u can keep them in a basket and right click to let them out so easy transport and you can put the basket in a chest and they lay moth eggs like tiny lil piles of eggos like blocks and they hatch out like turtles and u need to feed the caterpillars they can pick up things on their own and they can’t teleport to u they will stay in their lil moth house if you have a glowing block out or next to you they will fly towards it the domestic silk moth won’t fly it’ll just wobble to it moths will get attacked by bats and birds so when they get hit 3 times they’re wings will be a different texture it’ll be ripped and ragged and then the moth will not fly anymore unless you feed it some honey (this is one of the un-accurate things bc once a moths wings rip it’s over) moths will also enjoy you petting them you’d need to sneak and right click to pet them bagworm moths will invade new trees evergreens! Bagworms will make the evergreen slowly defoliated and brown you can pick them up and put them in a basket and feed them other leaves in that case like I’m doing irl bc they’re way too cute to kill the silk moths will eat bc most moths you know Luna atlas etc usually can’t eat and have short lifespans but in the game I’ll just put it so they can eat to avoid some confusion on why half the moths aren’t eating the sugar water as well and a new tree that will be added are the maple and that heaven tree on each tree shrub or bush you’ll fine caterpillars and cocoons you need to sneak to pick up caterpillars to pick up moths hold the screen or for computer do the right click option but hold the button to safely harvest cocoons you need a hoe don’t take me out of context please- just simply click it and it’ll be transported to your moth basket you can also harvest leaves to feed the caterpillars this way you can also have a dirt pot that you need to spray with water each day to keep naked pupa caterpillars that make uh pupas in dirt safe and sound most moths will eat maple leaves when caterpillars after they have exited the cocoons (we are not going to use in-humane features of real life in the add on I will eventually make someday) you can grab the cocoons and take it to a silk maker to create some patterns then combine 4 silk patterns and a random piece of armor to create a wonderful piece of fashion and protection Ik we have armor trims but more cool patterns and colors in real life some ppl boil live cocoons with small innocent babies inside imagine how painful it is so that’s what I mean by not adding that into the game bc for sensitive viewers and it’s literally brutal why I don’t want anyone not being comfortable and happy if you spot a dead moth (killed off by bat or other bird or irl moth predators) then you can craft a moth photo frame using 8 concrete and 1 dead moth item to pick it up right click it that’s all on my mind for it for now

@@aquawarper7328 As someone who played Bedrock for years until very recently when I got Java, yes it is sad that there were no mods, but it's also sad when you have to spend extra money on a game you've already paid for. I would very much love to have this add-on, but I can't buy it atm. It would be much easier to just have it as a mod.
@@EroseSaysI think he issue with the duck was that you used the farming add-on’s duck! The naturalist add on duck looks more like a retextured chicken with a mallard coloring.
@@EroseSays forgot to mention that if a book doesnt work and it has purple text on it, the book is old and no longer works so if u happen to keep an old version of the naturalist book its probably a super rare item that cant be retrieved
