I'm gonna buy your course.....Your projects are practical and you make them sound epic.....Keep doing the damn thing sir...I'm learning a lot from you...I'd rather spend my money with you than any of these fly by night tutorial bullshits out right now...Bless up Sean Divine...I do dancehall & reggae but still learning a lot from you
well, I usually do the wide panning of a left and right channel if I'm tracking the session... a lot of times I receive sessions with a single track for punches / adlibs. This also has a different style to it. It's all preference though :)
Hello I'm having a problem with the CPU because i use a lot of tracks from (30-70) even though I'm using buses for reverb and echo .. ! ... so can i take my whole plugin channel strip and use it as 1 bus for each lead track or adlib etc. ? or there's a solution ? pls reply
Is there a reason why you didn't use the make-up gain feature on the ad libs? Or did you feel they were at the appropriate volume after squashing them?
But probably also depends on how hot/loud the adlibs were recorded to start with, if they were a bit quiet, maybe it would be a good idea to add some makeup!
i started using busses more because you make them seem so handy ! But sometimes when i mix something and then drag the effects over to the buss, which i send the track to, it sounds totally different (worse) coming through the buss then when i had the effect on the track itself. Is this normal ?
You put the DeEsser after you boosted some high. I think your suppose to do subtractive eq before you boost any frequencies so it’s deEsser, subtractive eq them you boost eq.
Thanks for the video. Would like to point out to any new viewers that you can now download the widening effect as it's own free plugin by the same guys - search for 'Polyverse - Wider'.
Sean Divine is the man. How can you not love this guy? Another thumbs up.
thanks Mulder!
I still find myself coming back to this video, it's super useful!
Thanks so much Sean. Your vocal mixing videos have really taught me a lot.
Thank you so much, Sean for your commitment to share your knowledge. One love from the US Virgin Islands!
Dude, that selection based processing is sick!
very useful!

anyone know where to find linear phase eq on garage band
not sure if you already found it but it should just be under the eq section.
@@JuanDiaz-qj6bj nope mine doesnt say linear, is it just that scatterplot graph looking thing ?
nope still not seeing it
nope I dont have even have the option just single band & Channel eq
@@KhariShootYourShot92 OH sorry. I didn't realize you're using garageband. yeah it's most likely just not on there.

I really like how you made that sound. Good stuff! I really like your tutorials. I like your vibe.
HOLY SPIRIT LIT!
thanks Marcos!
is there any stock plugin instead of manipulator you used for adlibs?
damn I wish you lived in Austin!
What's the difference between just panning the add libs left & right to get the wide sound verses using the new plugin?

My imac speed is good enough but the overload cpu popup when i'm working on most of my big projects
try reducing the audio buffer size to 512 - 1024 while mixing
Is there a reason why you didn't use the make-up gain feature on the ad libs? Or did you feel they were at the appropriate volume after squashing them?
I think, when you do the boosting of the high frequencies, it tends to add alot of volume/gain, in my mind not really any need!
But probably also depends on how hot/loud the adlibs were recorded to start with, if they were a bit quiet, maybe it would be a good idea to add some makeup!
Why mine when i put adlibs to a bus. i can't pan my adlibs properly
Make sure it’s a stereo aux track with stereo plugins.

the sound shouldn't change at all. maybe your accidentally using a send to the bus rather than routing the entire output for the track to the bus?
i'm guessing that will be the issue because that's exactly what i do haha thanks !!!
Do you prefer to use touch or latch mode when using delay ?
depends on the situation. Touch is great for times like this riding the fader for a short time and then have it return to where it's set.
Artis sounds like Yelawoolf.

I let the performer record them twice so I can double them
Must have done this wrong. The selection base made my adlibs waaay too loud. This did not help me
