Your Question regarding talents not being signed here in Philippines is actually the main problem of many artist. Sometimes those who are not as talented as these guys are being given a chance because they are Actor/In the Main Stream/etc. That's why Indie Artist are thankful of WISH BUS because it became a platform for their talents. Yea this is how Music industry works here. Not to mention those whi goes oversees to make a Living. Reality hurts..

Philippines music business is a tough nut to crack.
Sometimes here in the Philippines when it comes to the music industry is not fair. Even if you have so much talent in singing as long as you're not famous you will not be given a chance the do the recognition/ recording while some obviously dont have that talent but they have album/s that made it to the top sometimes and earned so much recognition and awarded as gold/platinum records... So so funny 🤣🤣🤣

"How did Filipino record labels did not sign Ryssi yet?" Because Ovela, here in the Philippines. If you want a talent to be push as far as it can, You will need to have heavyweight backers in the Music, or shall I say Entertainment Industry. You got talent? good. Now, do you know someone that is well respected/valued inside the industry already? if yes then good for you. Let those guys do the work. IF NO, then It's a really really tough competition out there. Wondering why Young talents like Ryssi haven't have record labels yet, and old talents like these people aged up to 50yo always performing in ASAP? that's why.
Yes, Ryssi was already famous in the past but there is a circumstance that she was badly involved in that ruined that success that she already have. You can search it to know what really happened and why she need to start from the very beginning again.

There's a lot of talents here in the Philippines that's why it's not easy for an aspiring talent to penetrate the mainstream.
One must have a complete package to be able to do it.
Secondly, if there's a company willing to gamble for the talent to support and give her/him a chance to have a contract.
Finally, if there's a handler (manager) to manage the talent ready to gamble too and deal with company interested to the talent.

In Philippines, so many good singers wasted because they are not that good looking. Some talent managers here don't actually focus on TALENT but more on Physical Appearance. Because good looking appearance with no talent is more "marketable" (Easy ticket sold out).
