- This is a Kas Turkey walking tour turkey in 2022 in the rain. I am living in Kas Turkey, been living in Turkey for 4 months. After I decided moving to turkey , I knew I wanted to experience living in Kas. This is a walking to of kas in winter. Winter in Turkey can be mild if your in kas in winter. If your traveling to turkey or living in turkey consider moving to kas or live in kas in winter. If your into walking tour videos, you may enjoy this.
Çok iyi, teşekkürler.

Your filming in the streets of kas looks like 3D and the houses and bars seems like you're inside a studio . Nice, cute

Hi Ari… I can’t believe you said you’ve been in Kas for 2 months, I was there from 14th December to 5th January also. If only I knew you were there we could have met up. I guess we must have passed each other at some point.
Back in Sydney Australia now but I wish I never left there… looking to go back this year and stay for good if all goes to plan.
Keep the videos coming, I remember all the details, ah the memories and all the places I ate at… 😊
Heyyyyy.... I'm sure we probably passed each other at one point as well hahaha kas is so small . I've started to recognize all the locals already lol I'm glad you enjoyed my videos . Best wishes 💚👌👊🏼🙏✌🧿
Thanks for sharing such a nice walking tour.

Your very welcome. Kas is just too beautiful 😍
Absolutely Ari , you made a fantastic decision to stay in Kas🙏🏽
It is a nice way to experience this charming town by showing to us as a walking tour 😍😍
You did it as you were holding an umbrella while filming , kudos to you 👊🏽😃
Kas is awesome 👌 I'm glad you enjoyed it 😀 thanks again 🙏
Thank you for another great walking tour video, Ari! But somehow I could feel a distinct Greek vibe from your video...the streets and alleys of Kas remind me of the streets and alleys of Plaka in Athens...
Yes exactly I felt the same... when I was young I used to play on the streets of plaka in Athens... arriving in kas gave Me the same exact vibes.
The historical site you show beg of the video is The Kings Tomb (Kral Mezari) which is a Lycian sarcophagus from 400 bc. The whole area from fethiye down south covering to Antalya was Lycian town, this is why you see some greek vibe. Also from fethiye up north to izmir was once populated wth greeks/turks living together for centuries. After I.ww there was a treaty of exchange with turks living in mainland greece and greeks living in Turkey forcing to immigrate. It is sad for both of the communities since cosmopolitics make societies richer. But anyways you can have the same vibe way up north in Alacati as well. Go and google the pics, you will see
Great video and you’re haaaaaaaaaandsome!! ❤️
Look forward to summer, then you will see Kaş from its most beautiful side🇹🇷✌️🌞🧿
I cannot wait for summer here. Looking forward to it for sure 😀 👍
Thanks Ari... nice walking in the rain with you. Kas is lovely. I like the covered narrow streets and flowery shrubs hanging over fences. I think I like it better in the rain. Enjoy Kas.
Your very welcome. I think the rain really made the colors pop and more vibrant . I wasn't expecting that. Kas is a must see for sure 🙏
I used to watch the sunset from the top of the mountain behind the town. The view is amazing and one of my favorite places in the world to see the sun fall into the sea. I would wait until it just disappeared over the horizon then start running down the trail back to the town. The Lycian way hiking trail comes down the mountain and meets the highway just above the town (it is actually part of the ancient road from Phellos to Antiphellos). If you move with a purpose you can get all the way down to town right as it gets too dark to see the trail.
Your absolutely right. We have done the same thing lol 😆 it's a must do. 🙌
@@AriVisuals If you have a good torch/flashlight/head lamp you can come down the mountain in the dark but it is much easier to lose the trail when it turns. You can have a fire or BBQ (mangal) on the top of the mountain with a bottle of wine or a few beers then come back after dark. If you wait for a full moon and know the trail well you can come down the mountain by using only the light from the moon and stars to guide you which is a very surreal experience. If you don't know the trail well you should still bring a torch/head lamp just in case.
Thanks for sharing! Many blessings in Jesus name 🕊🌍
Great video!🧿👍
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you for all the great videos. I'm thinking about moving to turkey in 2 months, thinking about Dalyan. Do you think you can make a video about Dalyan or do you have any info about it
I have thought about Dalyan... I know eventually I will visit it one day and make an entire video on dalyan. 👌👌👌👌 and thank you for watching 👊🏼
Thank you sooo much for this video🙂
Your very welcome 🙏🙏🙏
It's beautiful
It really is 🙏👌
Absolutely beautiful 🥰 Kas
Yes it's very picturesque I heard it's best experienced around spring or afterwards... thanks for watching 🙏
Kaş 💗
It's gorgeous 😍
Hi Ari, another good Vlog. A suggestion though: Would you mind sharing some info about the expenses of food, accommodation, etc. in Kas? Thanks.
Ayyy my friend hopebyour well... actually this week I'm posting a video about cost of everything including items in grocery stores... breakfasts lunches... and among other things. Stay tuned .... 😉 🙏🙏🙏
@@AriVisuals That's great! Thanks and looking forward to it since we will be there in February :)
@AriVisuals Can you share tips for driving in Turkey as a Canadian driver?
Thanks for your videos - they are very useful for me. How is the Internet in Kas?
Ayyy your very welcome... I'm glad. I made a video about internet speed called "living or traveling to turkey" on the thumbnail you'll see "FAQ" where I speak about internet speeds at one point... hope that helps 🙏 let me know if you have more questions after that.... thanks for watching by the way.
I can see Oriental plane trees there. We have those trees here in Chitral, Pakistan as well.
Yes I seem them everywhere here 👊🏼
This is Saad from India. I love your videos brother. You keep it so real - love that about you. I was planning to visit Turkey this year sometime in October and wanted to pick your brains on something. I'm planning for a road trip from Izmir all the way south to Fethiye and Antalya. After looking at Kas I'm now inclined to include it but I only have around 5 days in the southern side. Was planning to stay 2 nights in Fethiye and 3 nights in Antalya. Now the question is should I stay in Kas instead of Fethiye? I plan to do paragliding and diving as well. Perhaps a boat ride as well.. I've heard Kas is the best place to do that?
If your going from fethiye... Kas will be on the way... so make a stop for couple of hours . It's beautiful. But before kas stop at Patara ancient city and Patara Beach... it's a must in turkey . Hope that helps 🙏
Hello from California! I love your videos. Ari, where is your background from? Meaning ethnicity. We are all guessing here 😍
Hello , and I'm glad you found me on youtube. Appreciated, I consider my self persian 😏👌... but half my family is greek and only speak Greek. 🤪
❤️
btw on that tomb it is not Greek language. it is Lycian language. But yes they use a very similar alphabet which comes from Phrygian language. You can still find in many other locations Greek texts, we have a huge Greek heritage in Turkey.
yes your right about that... it's greek alphabet but a total different language. Turkey is a place to get an overdose on ancient history hahaha love it . Thanks for watching and your wonderful knowledge. 😊
I had a question regarding traveling solo for a female. Do you think it’s safe to travel solo for a female ? Of course being carful is a must but I never been to Turkey and would
Love to visit. What’s your opinion on a female traveling alone in turkey ?
Thank you 🙏🏼😊
Great question... I actually made an entire video on that topic... look for it in my channel. I also talk about solo female travels and what to look out for... hope that help. Once you watch it let me know if you have other questions... and your welcome ☺ 🙏
@@AriVisuals thank you. yes I just saw it ! Thanks a million for your time and reply’s. Inshalah, god welling you reach a million subscribers by the end of the year !!!!! 🙏🏼🌹💫
@@sahars6387 appreciated 🙏
Lovely town….”Greek town”
It really is...definitely gives me the small greek town vibes. Greek Island of kastellorizo is about a 20 min boat ride from kas Port.
A "Turkish town" with a Greek influence, because of a large Greek population 100 years ago. And architecture is not all Greek, but Turkish as well.
