🏆Which problem mentioned in the video is most important to you as a car owner? 🤔 🔴8 Reasons Why You SHOULD NOT Buy Nissan Rogue WATCH HERE 👉 th-cam.com/video/7k5vVjtrzuc/w-d-xo.html
this video is complete false, the transmission in the 2024 Trax is taken from the existing parts bin with a rating of 277 ft/lb torque, the engine only produces 162 ft/lb. This over built transmission will last the entire life time without problems. The engine will require diligent maintenance for engine oil as it has a wet timing belt. I change at half the recommended interval at 5000 miles. If properly maintained, the car will last a solid 10 years. I did buy a Trax myself, for the same money as a high mileage beat up corolla, I get a brand new good looking car. Absolute no brainer
I just got a 2025 LT on Thursday with 1 mile on it, the transmission shifts down into I believe 3rd pretty hard coming off the highway, I'm really hoping it's just breaking in
@@XMG3 it started getting rough again, I took it in and there was some update, now I don't even really feel it shift anymore, glad I took it in when I did
ive noticed that about alot of youtube "these vehicles are trash because!" or "dont buy this vehicle because of!" videos....watched one the other day where apparently jeep grand cherokees are one of the most unreliable vehicles because of various issues he listed in the video but my friend who has been a certified journeyman and Chrysler master tech for 24+ years never heard of ANY or seen ANY of the issues ever that the youtuber listed off...makes you wonder where they get the info from...probly all California based info.
I've had a Trax 2024 for 2 months. Despite this video targeting things that might have been issues on the prior generation Trax, you should certainly do your research before buying the new Trax. The NHTSA site lists a myriad of issues reported by Trax 2024 owners, most notably severe engine damage, possibly resulting from the timing getting out of alignment. It's an interference engine, so pistons will collide with valves if there is an issue with the wet rubber timing belt. Parts availability is also a concern. Get the belt inpected/replaced at 40k, NOT 150k like the manual suggests. Keep the oil changed early and often. I learned a lot about existing issues of the Trax 2024 since I got mine - I'll be keeping an eye on it. I won't say it's a great vehicle until I've driven it for 7 years without any major issues. I'm hoping to keep it for 11 years. Unfortunately, by that time, there will be a new generation of Trax for people to be the guinea pigs for. I'll be watching the next few years for the kinds of issues people have with 40k+ miles on theirs.
Having grown up in a GM family, I've owned somewhere near a dozen GM vehicles over many years. None of them was a good experience and not a one would I have bought again. I thought after GM's bankruptcy maybe things would have changed, but after a 2017 and 2020 Chevy, nothing is better, and possibly worse.
After turbo recall, i experienced antifreeze leak, over heating, replaced thermostat and water pump......still overheats.....never will buy a Chevy again.
I purchased a 2025 Trax RS on Oct 4, 2024. On Oct. 9th, the car died at a traffic light. It had to be towed. 6 days later, I get my car back. Problem: FAILED/DEFECTIVE ECM. Oct. 28th, I felt a slight resistance turning onto my street. Service "power steering, drive with care" message pops up. Now, I I'm going to be late to work while dropping this off at dealer. Whose paying for missed wages again? I didn't cause these issues due to lack of maitenance, yet I'm missing work to deal with it. Sure, I got a courtesy car, but it takes time to bring/pick up car to dealership. This is utter bullshit.
I have a Trax 2rs and i love it there is no perfect car you must do your home work when buying any thing that is a high ticket item like a house will have issues this video is a hater video. So sad.

One Cool Mike gave the Chevy Trax a 5 out of 5 star review.
Really, any Chevrolet is a gamble these days.

It's totally redesigned and has nothing to do with the previous Trax.

Haters will hate and this is over top
this is a korean made daewoo not a chevy
Understandable but Chevy still puts their name on it.

Its obvious that whoever made this video does not know what they are talking about.
Car and Driver gave the Trax 10/10. This video is full of 💩.
Ridiculous garbage of a review
Truth hurts doesn't it.
Corolla hater he is comparing it to a corolla croos 👎
