No one is lessening Herc contribution, but Herc ought to be ashamed of himself for trying to take full credit for something he did not do. The culture was already moving and the struggle was real Hence why BA are cautious about other nationalities with melanin now. What he did was a pure colonization, coming from a colonized mindset. There can't be Black unity because of things like that. Now watch in about 20 years-all white rappers on the shows
Why weren't these people there during Mario's dark times of addiction? MFers show love when you're dead but not when you're alive. SMDH!
A lot of them were on drugs, too... some survived and some didn't.
Disco King is FBA not Latino
Where Crazy legs and Fat Joe at ?
Alpo Martinez 🇵🇷
@@Dominican1923 A disloyal jealous 🐀 salute. Truth is never disrespectful. 💯
I just dont understand if Mario was instrumental in Creating Hiphop and Tex was his Partner...how can you say No Puerto ricans was involved in the Creation? Is it not safe to say mostly Blacks aswell as some puerto rican..would that not be factually Correct? First Bboys Doug and Lil Jonny Latino again mostly black yet low an be hold some latinos why is that hard to acknowledge if its the facts?
Kooldjdee and Tyronethemixgoloist (both black americans) were out there before Mario..Mario was inspired by kooldjdee and even used his equipment..so that tells you right there the culture was already there from Black Americans
@@losfornia herc contributed more than all of them.
You're only describing assimilation and participation from latinos, not co creators. Where are the Puerto Rican cultural elements and influences in Hip Hop at 🤔
Your own pioneers say that Blackks pioneered B-Boying tho🤔
Tex wasn't deejaying in the beginning with Mario. Tex came around 1976-77. Mario started early 70's
Not for nothing, break dancing was originated in the 1930s and 40s with the Nicolas Brothers, sammy davis Jr and countless others, just Google their videos it's self explanatory.
One of the TRUE Father's of black American/FBA cultural music The JAM/RAP/ "HIP HOP."
We can no longer allow Caribbean, Bahamian's and J's to tell OUR ORIGIN STORY, THEY DON'T KNOW IT!!
Not Bahamians, you mean Jamaicans and bajans
We need to create a new music now in the house because we got too many Caribbean thieves distorting our culture
