They really did. For the 1st round, water splashing dive would never get 7.5. More like 6.5 shoild have been given to laughter guy. Laughter was overscored.

It seemed that way for some of the dives, to me as well. I was shocked by the significant under-rotation that got 7-8s across the judges.
