Makin' progress!!! These things seem and look simple but it ain't no joke; hard as chit to make the right choices and make the shots, leaving yourself with what ya wanted. Here's to ya Chris! Be Safe
A journey of a thousand miles is accomplished one step at a time. One ball closer is great! Grats on topping your high run, brother. Have fun on your trip and be sure to let us know how it was once you get back.
Excellent shooting Chris. Great breaks, best pattern play I’ve seen you play, and minimal cue ball movement. Ball 61 (bank the 15) was the only ‘hero shot’ needed. Great Houdini act to get thru the 60s to 70. Very few stressful shots until after ball 61 - it seemed like something changed after that shot.
Well, you were wearing socks so it wouldn't have counted anyway. ;-) LOL Ironic that trouble happened just one shot after your new record. IMO, your best Hail-Mary at the end would have been carom the 7 off the 2 into the top left corner. Really nice run! Anytime your shot choice differed from mine it made total sense.
Top shot on #60 with the full table bank/combo. You called it yourself, should likely have taken the 1-ball beforehand to open the pack, but great recovery. 👍
I have a question. I am about to buy a table for the house. If I normally play at bars and clubs with seven foot tables, will practicing on an eight foot table give me an advantage on the seven foot tables?
*IF MOSCONI, FATS, AND THE REST PLAYED 14.1 LIKE THIS CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW MANY BALLS THEY WOULD HAVE GOTTEN IN? IF THEY JUST SMASHED THE RACK LIKE A GAME OF 8-BALL, THEN JUST SHOT THE BALLS IN. ZERO STRATEGY. SMASH THE BALLS AND PRACTICE SHOOTING, THATS ALL THIS IS*
yo lil chris, how was your holidays? i hope everything went good,ok question, why is it when i shoot at pool tables into a pocket, the object ball pops out? i shoot hard but on other tables it doesnt happen
Two things I would consider: 1. The condition of the pocket. Some pockets are too "hard" to where a ball can hit the back of the pocket and just bounce back. 2. How many balls are in the pocket? If there are too many, then there's a chance another ball can go in and bounce off those balls and come back out.
If I were to guess, I'd say that you seem to be intimidated by the below-the-rack-backcut shot, since those were your two major mistakes. And I do understand that. Well, practice makes perfect; make it an occasional drill. 100+ ball run coming to you for sure in 2024, even 125+ or 150+ within reach. Congrats on a new HR.
Outstanding, that combo bank on the 15 opened things up beautifully 👍🏻💪🏻👍🏻
Great effort Chris! Great combo 15 to open it up and keep the run alive as well. One ball at a time bud!! Keep at it...

Looking at the last shot got me thinking percentage wise was the 2 ball in the top left corner a better shot ? Or the 7 5 combo in the side
Good effort!
Hey Chris, do you have a video of where you did your rack template?
I do not as it was my first time trying to apply it. When I replace it, I'll make a video on it.
How's it going so far
I have a question.
I am about to buy a table for the house.
If I normally play at bars and clubs with seven foot tables, will practicing on an eight foot table give me an advantage on the seven foot tables?
IMO, practicing on bigger tables does make it easier to play on smaller tables
Thanks. An 8 footer for the house it is!

Great progress. I think that 7 ball would have banked into the lower right corner with a little left english to help it.
What are you measuring at 16:02?
I was looking to see what the next shot would look like if I stopped the cue ball.
What are your thoughts on the SMO Shaft vs. the revo?
I talk about and demonstrate the SMO shaft here:

Are you still using the “how” cue tip and how do you like it so far?
I now shoot with the Taom Fusion tip.

Dude! 🎉
What size is that pool table
It's an 8ft table, but I no longer own this table as I'm working on upgrading to a 9ft table.

It's this a 9ft or 8ft table?
