Those cases look brilliant! As many cards as you move at a time, each time you move, that looks like it’s the easiest case to carry around. All the open boxes you see at postcard shows look fine for storage, sitting around on shelves, but rather impractical for carrying from vehicle to car and back. I agree, I like how they look, too. Probably better for long-term storage as well, because mice, insects, and water can get to cards in those open boxes (even when in sleeves), as well as get to the boxes themselves. Thanks for the video! I hope to see more ‘what sold’ videos, as well as videos about any adventures you have at postcard shows or antiques/collectibles stores and the treasures you find there. Hope your trip was good and enjoy this summer!
Whoa! Really glad to know about those cases - thank you. I like to sort, sleeve and research cards when I am riding on car trips, and regular archival boxes are risky since they can dump out easily and have no handles. This is perfect. Thank you. Also - my sister lives in CoMo and I will be there next weekend. Have any recommendations on local postcard sources (antique malls, stores, etc?). Congrats on having another year of college behind you.
The Columbia area has some great antique stores. I suggest visiting Artichoke Annie’s most of all. It is a great antique store and there are several dealers who do a lot of postcards (some are more expensive, but you can also find some steals). I’ve also recently gone to Midway and there are few bins here and there of post cards but nothing really worth reselling in my opinion. Another antique store is Veranda. They have one vendor with postcards but not too many. Hope you have fun in CoMo!
@@LilsPostcards Thank you for the detailed reply. I did find a seller with a lot of postcards on a prior visit to AA’s and hope to go there again this time. I appreciate the names of the other spots. I enjoy your channel and admire you for managing your postcard business while in college.
I didn’t make it to AA’s during my visit but did go to Veranda. Picked up a handful of cards from the one booth that had them. Unfortunately didn’t have enough time to go through all the cards before my shopping pals got impatient. Hoping I made some good buys - haven’t listed yet. Thanks again for the tips @lilspostcards

Good storage solutions for moving cards around.
