Ordered mine during the first pre-order..Hopefully they do ship in August. Im glad i watched this... The fact the UL certification is retroactive was very important for living in NY.
Sorry I had to drop off the live early but I am re- watching it now. In terms of acceleration - it does not have throttle/acceleration delay, but it starts off gradual and safe. You won’t loop the bike from take off. However, the bike quickly and exponentially gains speed once you get going. It is an extremely smooth tune! Because of this, I think it would be good for new riders as well as more experienced riders as well! 🤙
Love the bike. My only hesitation on buying is the bike isnt ready for shipping for a while. When they are in stock and can be delivered within a few days so it’s possible to schedule what day it would arrive, I would consider buying.
Hi Mike, makes sense. It may take us a few production batches to catch up to the demand as we anticipate the first few batches to sell out before we have stock.
We will have a few of the seats for purchase in the store at the time of delivery of the bikes. It’s not a customization we do before we ship them as our SKU’s aren’t customizable based on how we do our logistics. But it can be purchased after the bike is delivered and swapped out.
I pre purchased in Jan 2024 after watching some of Mark's videos & just wanted to give him a shout-out. He did an excellent job of explaining the Graffiti X. It was his persistence & enthusiasm that really got me motivated to take the plunge. Thank you @oregonebikermark8953. Also, thanks to Lyric Cycles for doing this video! I am so excited to be receiving this bike in August!
The bike weighs 120lbs, bike capacity is 350lbs. That leaves rider, passenger, and cargo a total of 230lbs. Is this right? If i weigh 200lbs, I can’t have a passenger? And my cargo can only be 30lbs or lighter? Please advise
I absolutely love how this bike looks and the specs but unfortunately it doesn't support my weight (290 pounds). Does anybody know of any bike comparably spec'd that supports more than 250 pounds? I have resigned to the fact I won't get one that looks this beautiful, but if I can get something at least reasonably comparable in specs and quality, that would be awesome. EDIT: Ristretto 512 feels like maybe the closest? It looks really good, but has considerably less battery life. It has a mid-driive, so presumably better torque, but much louder and lower top speed. But it might be the only one that supports 300 pounds (325 actually) and looks great in this type of price range.
@@lyriccycles the thing is, I'd much rather have your all's bike. But they clearly state that the max rider weight is 325. Why do you think they feel more confident estimating so much higher?
@@artistfound the Brute is definitely a contender, but man I have a hard time fathoming spending $4000 on an ebike, so the Brute costing even more (even just a little) probably puts it out of my price range. It also has a very DIY look to it. I think I appreciate the balance between aesthetics and power the Graffiti X has. Brute has better power but I think aesthetically looks far less refined. Still, your recommendation definitely makes sense and when I've saved up enough to make my choice, it will definitely be one that I think about.
It has assisted regen braking yes. Instead of the variable regen on the 2022 Graffiti you have, the regen turns on at the same time as the brake levers are pulled. If you pull the lever lightly then it is regen only, if you continue to pull the levers both the regular brakes and regen ramp up.
It does yes! It was unfortunately damaged during shipping on a couple of the demo bikes and couldn't be fixed in time due to time constraints. But it will be working on all production units!
The video is quick but is the screen full color? And does it show bars or % of battery life? Also does this come with a sticker or decal on it stating Class 2 750W for legal purposes?? Thank you! ☺️🤙🏽
Display is full color yes! And it shows the battery meter. The motor is a 3000 watt and it does say that on the motor. That said, it will ship in legal mode locked to 20mph.
@lyriccycles Cool thank you for thr response! Will you also be working out the overheating motor issue before shipments in August? I saw that is an issue, and that's definitely something I'm concerned about considering the amount of $ dropped. 😅
@@HeartEnergyHealing We haven't had any issues with the motor overheating. We have only managed to reach the thermal threshold of the motor by riding the bike as fast as possible up a sustained steep grade (15%) for more than 15 minutes.
@lyriccycles I'm talking about what happened to MrCentralDriver. What was the issue then? I live in Nola, and I'll need to be able to ride around in the summertime (within reason) and not worry about an overheating issue if possible for safety reasons.
Andrew has done all the speed testing. He is 200 lbs and hit 50mph. We're marketing it as 45+ mph, but given Andrew's top speed, you should have no problem hitting the same or higher.
@oregonebikermark8953 it's not just about LOOKS it's about Ride Quality and Performance. Looks to me they are trying to appeal to the street lovers and squeeze a couple more MPH so they can advertise it at 50. I personally would have rather had a Huntsman All Terrain ture so it's great on and off road.

Excellent session!
The rear turn signal lights question got skipped. Does it have them?
It does yes. They are integrated into the rear taillight.
Can we get the blue with black seat instead of brown seat?

Ristretto has similar brakes to what we are using which would have similar limitations.
