You are truly an inspiration. A couple days ago, my friend got evicted from his home by his landlord because he refused to be her boyfriend. His landlord is like
50 something, with grand kids, and my friend is 25. As of right now, he is a homeless man in Downtown Toronto, trying to find shelter, a job, and get back on his feet.
After I started watching this, and seeing all the genius tactics you use around London in order to survive your homeless challenges, I definitely had to show this to
my friend. It really sucks that a lot of the websites you use in your videos aren't available in Canada, and the prices here are ridiculous compared to what you have
to pay. I've showed the videos and series to my friend, and he started crying and tearing up while watching them, it was almost like a "fun game".
He couldn't believe how you were doing the challenge and making it look like a cake walk. You have inspired him, and made it clear that there is still hope, and that
he should never give up, even in the desperate times.

That waste less eat free program is something we definitely need in America! Everyone is so wasteful! I’ve always been resourceful because I came from a very low income home with a single mom. When she would come home from working long hours I would scrape together bits of food to make a meal. Stale bread, tiny bit of sauce and cheese = pizza! Instead of throwing out small bits of leftovers, always save them.

@@MrRice-cg4yi you have a very good point here because I know a lot of homeless people here in East London and none of them have smart phones or ID as they can only really get things like ID sorted out when they get put into a long term homeless hostel where they can get real help from their key workers so I'm glad you have seen this point and commented on the fact so thank you because this does kind of make it look like it's easy living on the street and even fun at times and believe me it's really not and it's even hard to get the help you really need once you are homeless and living on the street..I was street homeless for a while in East London and someone even set up an appointment for me with the no second night out street team and when they finally got around to coming to see me were I was sleeping rough I was basically told they could do nothing for me,,it's kind of sad really and hard sometimes to get back on your feet after really being street homeless..
Kinda gotta disagree. I'm homeless in the u.s. and I'm watching this on my smartphone. It just takes a homeless to actually go out there and get a job like I did. There are plenty of programs that help get the homeless the identification they need to job search.

I know a lot of homeless people in East London and was also homeless myself for a while I can can tell you no real homeless person would jump in the canals here to was..the thing is it's really unnecessary because there are places like homeless day centers where you can shower and even s doctors surgery in hackney that I know of where you can shower if you ask and you don't even need to be registered there..a lot of homeless people would have open wounds to maybe even just through having sore feet and that would just get really infected by was in the canals around here..

I'm a social worker in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I wish we had all of the reduce waste/pay as you go places and apps. We do have one cute shop that is pay as you can connected to a game shop, but COVID has been a huge issue. I work with adolescents and I had one kiddo that is now homeless and I have no way to help him. I'm glad I was able to get him a mentor and he has emancipation Medicaid. I wish I had the money to start something. I want to do a little pantry like the little library boxes they have. I would want it to look like a TARDIS. I love your and Simons videos!
