This also relates to another game which is also going downhill. It’s called Animal Jam. It went downhill because of the owner’s and developer’s choices towards other games they created in the past. They keep trying to salvage their game and try to milk it as much as they can before it dies, but it’s almost completely dead.
I still play it because I have friends on there, but I tend to log on every couple of days. Just proves how dead the game is

7: People start giving reasonable solutions to the problems of the soon to be "old" TOS.

I hate Rthro too. Some of them glitches out in R6 games, but my biggest problem with rthro is that we can't put 2D clothing on them, and there is like a 0.1% chance that we find Rthro that has it's shirt and pants matching with our favourite accessories. This issue could be solved if we were able to recolour the Rthro bundles for free, or for only 5 rbx. And the best would be if we weren't be limited to like 20 colours, instead, there would be that circular colour sheme thingy with white in the middle, black on the outside, with blue, red, green, yellow, orange, purple, ect. between white and black. You guys know what i mean, right...? (Sorry if my grammar is bad, and sorry for writing a whole essay! 😅😅)

As sad as it is, Roblox doesn't care what we want anymore. Everything that they're doing is just for the investors. Investors like the Metaverse, that's why Roblox renamed games to experiences and keeps refering to their platform as a Metaverse. Since they prefer "experiences" over "games", then I'd assume they also prefer realistic avatars over some weird lego looking characters. In conclusion, there's nothing we can do. Roblox will keep pushing us into using Rthro, until eventually, It'll be the only thing we can use.
I think we should raid roblox. After all they are NOT even as great as minecraft anymore! Roblox has to STOP listening to investors and start listening to US!

Exactly. I have multiple different avatars that I use on different days and such, and all of them are the classic body type except one, and that's my "weird" skin. I picked a random rthro-type pack and added a regular head because it looked funny and weird and stupid and that's what I wanted it to be- not because I actually wanted to use anything rthro as my default avatar

I miss everyone having basic avatars and playing natural disaster survival/work at a pizza place. We got egg hunts, we played after school and work... it was actually fun

As somebody who started playing roblox during the age of Cube Cavern and the other 2015 Roblox games I'm slightly saddened that they aren't the cool and unique game as they once were, seeing the game i've grown up with force people to use "Rthro" avatars is just sad, what the hell happend to that fun and unique lego style game?

As a game dev, this really makes me mad due to these new limitations. Now my future projects will have to be delayed even more if what Roblox saying is true. As of currently I'm unaffected, but this will hit in the future.

I dont know about anyone else but Roblox is a game where I like the people, games, merch, lore, pretty much everything it has to offer except for the actual creator itself. It's an amazing game but I honestly hate the recent changes like rthro thats becoming popular, music limitations, ro and blox restrictions, and other new changes to the game. And don't even get me STARTED on the messed up report feature that doesnt even work (even though that was already a thing) and how roblox has "tax" so you don't get the robux other players spent to buy things your selling. I mean, what happens to the extra robux? Does the CEO of roblox wanna buy headless?

@S0LAR More than half of the community doesn't like and doesn't use rthro. Yet continue to push it. Very little people genuinely like all of the branded deal events. Yet they still do only those. When you search for clothes in general it always pushes layered clothing to the top, and doesn't show results that are actually accurate to your search. That is a design choice. They changed the names on their website to sound more professional. As per example: doesn't experience sound a lot more professional than the word game. They are trying to appease their investors. Not their audience.

I am a old roblox user myself, I have been playing since early 2016. The only time when roblox wasn't full of toxic kids who wanted to use slang as a new form of language. The roblox characters have always been unique, being a lego based | Blocky like character that can we accessorize with clothing/hair of our options, as kreek stated that these characters are unique, I personally agree. Roblox was good from 2016 - 2019, and I feel as if they started to not listen to their community around the 2019 - 2020 mark. I know it wasn't as bad as it is now but roblox is a billion dollar gaming company free and suitable for all ages. As the game gets older the more of our generation will start to play, which is extremely toxic. Roblox will start to loose millions of players if Rthro is gonna be forced upon us. We don't play to have realistic characters because none likes them, roblox has always been fun but I might quit if this gets worse, roblox is gonna end up not making as much money when they loose millions of players, meaning they will cancel: Premium and stop buying robux. Roblox *NEEDS* to listen to their community now before they end up being one of the worst rated games ever. Arsenal is a personal favorite, and if Rthro is gonna be the new skin, then that will definitely be one of the many games that will loose players. Thank you for reading.

okay so I used to use rthro when I first joined the game last year and I just recently went back to the classic avatars since there are more items I can apply on the classic than the rthro
also a lot of games don't support rthro meaning some games make your character look ;small or the heads might be big
regardless I think roblox should balance their thoughts between them and the community
I can tell you, out of the let's say 10 million people who play Roblox. Let's say 250 thousand are bot accounts/alt accounts/ abandoned accounts. That leaves us with 9.75 million people. I would say out of that 9.75 about 9 million people have never even tried rthro and only use the classic avatars. I would then say that about 650 thousand people have tried rthro and maybe like it maybe don't but they prefer/ would use the classic avatars over rthro. So that leaves us with only about 10 thousand people who would prefer to use rthro over the classic avatars out of 10 million. I can't believe Roblox is making the tos just blackly weird and not listening to the community. We like Roblox because it's well- Roblox! Almost all of us don't want our avatars to look real. We like it cause it's a game. I hope Roblox fixes the TOS and starts listening to the community again.
Rthro can look okay but I’m really more into the classic Avatar - That’s also why I don’t really like the new 3D clothes… I personally just really love the old Avatars and it makes me sad how Roblox basically forces us to use Rthro - many people left Roblox because of this aswell. My cousin is 8 and uses an RTHRO (idk how it’s spelled) avatar of some sort of golden knight, but I have never seen more than 3 ppl using rthro avatars in a public game. Seeing 1 is already very rare.
Fun fact : if you search my father left me in catalog you get rthro characters ☠️

The only thing I liked is they disallowed "blox or ro"(or other more) to be putted in the game. Roblox developers (70% of them) makes literal copies of the other game, but with blocks and funny ingame currency. Roblox ALSO do not wanted to deal with lawsuits because of one group of dudes make a game the same isnt their problem.

Also, I strongly despise the whole Rthro thing. It looks like something from a Sims game, and it makes Roblox unrecognizable. And much like Kreek said, I haven't seen anyone use the avatars unless they're simply making fun of it.
nah they are still around, but they aren’t common (u mainly see them with those without robux, no offense to those players but yeah u sometimes do see a knight or zombie when rthro first came out), and most of them have evolved into a mainly bloxy but with some parts rthro avatar (for example, rthro head with bloxy body /it actually looked kind of nice, that person makes it work/ and bloxy person with 3D jackets and a rthro torso /covered but it make female avatars have a waist, hard to make out but it’s there and it somehow also works/). like tbh some people just know how to make it work and not make it look too bad. sure those people aren’t common because yeah rthro doesn’t look that great with the whole thing on, and when u make avatars it’s usually full rthro or full bloxy

I remember in early 2020 when people spread rumors that Roblox was going to make everyone use Rthro. I was nervous that they were gonna do that because a) I still played it at the time and b) I HATED Rthro with a burning passion. And I still do. I remember being so happy that the rumors died down and that it didn't happen...UNTIL NOW!
