Wow...I love this card. I have this set and I've made a summer lake card, actually 2 of them but I LOVE the winter look and the addition of the cabin and snow. That is going to be my husbands birthday card for sure! Thank you for the inspiration. Question: I notice when you use Distress inks you always use the Ink instead of Oxide, is there a reason you prefer the look of Ink instead of Oxide?

I have a problem with not getting a cake or dessert usually. Then I have to ask if he has gone without on his birthday and the answer is no. Ding ding!
Years ago, there was a guy that had moved to Alaska (??), he did everything for himself, I mean Everything.. totally independent, this was Way before cell phones. He may have had a cb radio of some sort to place orders for supplies that arrived a cpl times a year by plane . Anyway. All that to say, this beautiful card reminded me of that guy (long since forgotten his name) and the location he was at. It was so isolated but beautiful. Thanks for the reminder. I have been debating on ordering this stencil and die set... you may have helped me to make up my mind😂
