I have had the Note 9 now for about 3 months and every 30 minutes or so the "Firmware Update Error" messsge would pop up twice! It was literally driving me insane but even the store my bf had bought the phone said there was no way to fix it. I watched ur video and did as u said and now that stupid message isn't popping up anymore!!! Thank you so much!
first didn't work, trying UICC unlock gave me the same exact error, but then I did as you said and clicked "OK" on the error message, went into my notifications and tapped the notification, then "OK" again and it magically worked. thanks!
Holy hell. Thank you so much for this. Been dealing with the Hourly looping error for like 2 months now. This fixed it! Was contemplating just buying a phone from TMobile again. 😅

Hi. I just had two updates in the past three days and after the last one I started getting this message. I have an unlocked (formerly Sprint) Samsung Note 9. Because it is unlocked, I cannot access UICC in my settings. What do I do to make this message stop if I can't open UICC? Thanks very much!
NOOOOO... DOES NOT WORK!!! With or without SIM the UICC always says: "SIM unlocking could not be completed. Please try again later. If problem persists, you may need to contact customer service." Repeatedly and continuously this same problem for 2 months, even though we had 2 updates, with one a few days ago.
Sorry to hear. that. FYI - UICC will always give you the same message. it should not matter. as long as you do UICC FIRST then due the software update second. let me know if you tried it in that order. thanks
I have the same message pop up for me. My contingency plan if this doesn't eventually work is to burn the phone in a fiery pit. I'll send this firmware update back down to Hell
