- I asked random people to sing in New York City (Herald Square), and that's where I met Quiora on her way home from school. At first, she took interest in singing. Then she started to get nervous. Other high school kids encouraged her to take the opportunity to sing. So I helped her find a song, and we started singing!
As a musician, I'm all about creating musical experiences that have people feeling happy and free, and that's why the "Sing With Me for Free" series exists. Since 2018, I have asked thousands of random people to sing with me on camera. A lot of people have said no, some have said no initially but changed their minds to yes, and some have said yes right away. I ask these people to sing with one purpose: to create a way for them to experience a sense of happiness and freedom they did not feel before. And much of the time, this actually works (and that makes ME happy).

Thank you so much for doing this. The first young lady (Qui’ora) is my daughter that was the first time that I have seen her sing outside of a school setting or at home. I love that fact that she is getting out of her comfort zone. I have been trying to get her to pursue singing for a number of years and she doesn’t think she has what it takes. She had no ideas this was on TH-cam , until I shared this video with her. When she read the encouraging comments left about her she became emotional and started crying. She could not believe it. Thank you all. I hope this pushes her to make a few videos of her own and post them. I would love for everyone to enjoy her voice as I do at home. I love her appreciation for all genre’s of music.
I would subscribe if she was to chose to post videos, she has a lovely voice. I wish the world would hear it more as it has brighten my day to hear her.

@@Quince82 one time I went to audition for the second season of the Voice & I had only tried karaoke a couple times.... I had no idea you not only had to sing in front of three judges but they also had all if us in huge groups & the entire room was filled with your group & the judges.
Well I couldn't handle it at all!!🤣 and when I had to stand in the center of the room & sing I blacked out!

@@BaconNationChannel It's a weird feeling sometimes when you're good at something like that during high school because there's no clear way to keep it going especially with everyone going to different colleges/jobs. I can't sing to save my life, but I played violin throughout middle and high school and I would give a quarter of my monthly income in a heartbeat just to be able to play in an orchestra again.

Love that he not only picks up songs immediately, and riffs on any song at will, but he also has a little set up to get a bass line and can accompany anyone effortlessly. He's the Stevie Nicks of this thing. She was great on her own, but when she was in a group or duet, she made everyone else sound better but still somehow remained in the background. Reggie has some amazing talent. An extremely talented musician. How he can just listen to a song for a few minutes and then play it is something beyond my brain's comprehension. God has given everyone something. Those who know what it is and can find it do some amazing things. I am still looking for the good God put in me.
