Unlucky david like ya say its fishing still nice to get out there and free the mind keeps you busy some lovely footage there and on the rods t-900 for me 🙋♂️👍🏻🎣
Hi David I use to fish the mark you were fishing many years ago. At that time Silloth was famous for large bags of Flounders rather than Thornbacks and Smooth-hounds as it is now. However, the best time to fish was much the same. The last two or three hours of the ebb seemed the most productive with the flood being less so due to the strong increase in tidal flow which you get on the Solway coast.
Looks a lovely spot to fish. Rods are looking good. And I liked the detail and your thinking, in the way you bait up and use the dongle. Good stuff. Tight lines. And all the best. 🐳👍
Yea I hear you Dave , I like some space when i'm fishing too , as much as I can get , LOL , & I love talking to the beach walkers, especially if they are local and you can glean a bit of knowledge from them, but occasionally you get someone who just stands there and chats yr head off for 20 30 mins azif yr a captive audience , and eventually i have to say ' not being funny mate but I come out here for a bit of peace and quiet' and they leave 😂😂, Your program making skills just get better and better, that was really nice to watch and learn from regardless of a blank, keep fishing and tight lines 2u2 :)
Hi David, the first video of yours I watched was the time you fished Silloth and thought that you had triggered a speed camera on you way over. After I watched it my thoughts were that you really knew your stuff. Since then I haven’t been wrong, as your a credit to North East angling. Keep up the great work mate.
Just been there today from 9 this morning I fished the beach 2 hours down then 2 up before moving onto the prom to fish high water tried all different baits and distances I never had a single bite all day, conditions looked spot on, just got back to Peterlee about an hour ago. Might try again in a few weeks or go to flat rock
You’re putting the miles in!! I’m sure you’ll get rewarded with some more excellent fish after all this effort. Your first Silloth video got me over to that beach for my first ever ray. Just need to tick a Tope and Smoothhound off now..
Unlucky David. Top effort though as always. I too felt the cold cruel sting of the blank on my last coastal outing. Its fishing though, and always better than sitting at home. Take care.
Good effort David , just one of those sessions eh , I’m with you on fishing away from the crowds on the best marks mind , I’d rather fish away from other anglers whenever i can and blank than fish among folk on top of each other , lots of noise and people casting over you every chuck .. great footage as usual bud 👍🏻
Unlucky mate,I’ve just came home empty handed aswell, we can’t win ‘em all and all that…. Great video as usual though, thanks for putting the effort in. on a different note is there any chance you could make a video on how you tie your two hook clipped down rig with the rig tubing on if you a chance one day please? Tight lines 🎣
@@fullcircleangling aye that’s it mate, I don’t think we’d like it half as much if we did though… that would be champion, thank you very much! Tight lines 🎣
I’ve been carp fishing for nearly 50 years and I think you have got your rig wrong I know most people do it the same way but I think by strapping your hook to the bait it impedes your from turning that’s why we use the perfection knot so hook can turn I just think it would be more efficient if the bait could move independent of the hook anyway that’s my thoughts for what they’re worth great videos as usual happy days 🥸👍
Cheers Mick always interested and happy to take advice and thoughts on board. I’ll definitely experiment more with independent rigs to see what the results yield, particularly if they prevent deep hooked fish. As always mate really appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment and share your thoughts and advice 🙏 tight lines 🙋♂️👍
@@fullcircleangling iam out this weekend up mawbray on boat don't think water as warmed had a northerly wind this week peelers have started so that's a plus
Cracking video as per mate Use a medical rubber glove to pull the weed off the line you will be impressed how fast that snotty stuff comes off. The weed is on n off. Where you getting more weed on the braid than the mono?
Cheers Mick hope you’re well. I’ll definitely try that 👍 it was just as bad on both mate, depended on how much was coming through each cast. Tight lines 🙋♂️
Cheers mate. Given my last session I’m not sure I’m the person to ask 😂 if it’s your sort of thing high water on the prom will serve you well. I like to fish half way between the Tommy legs and the harbour area over low water. Squid and bluey for the rays mate. Good luck👍
@@fullcircleangling sometimes fish can pick your bait up and drop it and you wouldn’t know especially if you’re using mono other times you get a couple of taps and you wait for it to develop and it doesn’t you’ve been nutmeged

Exactly mate. Thanks as always for watching. Still haven’t fished with the T9’s yet, one day…
Enjoyed the video great scenery. I personally found Silloth to be a very eerie place?
Cheers Gordon. I’ve never found it to be eerie, but I can understand why you’d think that. Thanks for watching and tight lines. 🙋♂️👍

Thanks Chris appreciate that. Always next time….👍
