Dakman, I'm from North Jersey and like in South Jersey, "guys" or "you guys" is a term meaning everyone. Also, I pronounce "Super Bass" like "Super Base"! Bass belong in the water! Base is either a guitar or a large drum. Basically anything to do with sound.

I don’t have super bass or any legacy engines Shawn. Majority of my stuff is from the MPC and Kughn era. I’m also a conventional operator. I’ve also just got my first non Lionel car. A Right of Way Industries Burlington Northern flat car with Ertl Allis Chalmers tractors. Unfortunately they didn’t make one for Conrail.

Hello Dakman , new subscriber ,I been doing o scale for almost a year I’m a beginner, love the diesel locomotives, I c on TH-cam a lot of stem locomotives which I like but mostly diesel I live in Fla I am into Csx and seaboard coast line, and will be getting in future conrail locomotives my layout size 21’ x11’ , you got me beat lol😊love your layout Thanks for sharing

Ya i have this problem with my SD 40-2's. You have to reset the loco's and reprogram the lashup, it might take a couple of tries. It's wierd

Thanks for letting me know you have issues with lashing up as well. Is your SD40-2 made in 2012 as well?

when building your lashup , you need to set the sounds you don't want to work to off , like bell , horn , crewtalk , this is where you also set weather the engine is lead , center or tail and the direction they are facing so the lighting works correctly .
page 60 and 61 of the legacy manual , PFF version is available online . good luck, its just a matter of a few adjustments on the settings

I disagree, when setting engines in lashup the remote will mute all of that automatically, in this case though like my SD40-2's mentioned earlier it's just a matter of deleting the lashup entirely and reprograming them, Simple

You mentioned the issue with lashing up 2 locomotives from different decades. (2022 Conrail SD45 leading 2012 SD40-2). Does the same issue happen when both locomotives are powered?

@@conductorjohnmthtrains2239 I understand. They way I shoot videos of my trains running it looks like there are two different high rail layouts. Because the other section is in another room all everyone sees is the main section which is the corner you mentioned
