just over 10 years ago, we booked Jackie for my dad's birthday party, got a phone call a few days before the party telling me he had passed away……terrible news…he was a fantastic Comedian…..
Thanks, Jackie, for the Great laughs we had that day we met Circa 1994 in The Princess and Bow and Arrow Pub’s in 2 Dogs Fightin (Huyton) Liverpool , With my Younger Brother Mark , ended up in Cantril Farm Amongst other Places and Pubs and had a Scream! We talked about the old days, you had with my Dad Vic and your Time comparing In his Club the "Riverside Rifle and Pistol Club" (Liverpool) With Tommy (Tucker) Chance, Mickey Finn, Tom Pepper, Ste Faye and others. Next days' hangover, was probably the worse memory of all to be honest ;( RIP Buddy ;(..................................
A classic comedian, I wish I could have been in the audience! He was one of my favourites in The Comedians aswell, he could make an averagely funny joke hilarious, just by the way he spoke, actions, facial expressions etc.!
It's a shame the rest of this isn't around somewhere, he's on absolutely top form. I memorised the joke about the couple wanting a baby and told an 86 year old lady I knew (she was a great character), it was wonderful watching being drawn into the joke and then really laughing at the punchline.
Les Dennis and 'Down The Dock Road' brought me here. Brought back great memories of the Liverpool comics! Thanks for sharing!
I have Les Dennis to thank for alerting me to Jackie Hamilton. Very funny, great timing, an original style .I wish I had seen him live, Stuart
Jackie was one of my favourites in the Comedians, and he still had the talent in his later years!
Excellent
Best comedian ever. Jackie was tremendous and natural.

Frankie Boyle et al, take note, no obscenities, mocking the afflicted, just pure humour.
