    Instant dhokla is a very easy and quick recipe. A perfect snack option also goes well with some chutney. It turns out nice, soft and spongy. We are not using baking powder or baking soda or curd in this recipe. You can try this recipe at home and drop a comment for me. Do not forget to like, share and subscribe.
    Ingredients:
    • 1 cup Besan
    • 1 tbsp Lemon juice
    • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder (Optional)
    • 1 tsp Sugar
    • Salt to taste
    • 2 tbsp hot Oil
    • 1/2 cup Water
    • 1/2 tsp Eno fruit salt
    • 1 tsp Water
    • Water
    • 1 tsp Sugar
    • 1/4 tsp Salt
    • 2 tsp Oil
    • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
    • 1/4 tsp Hing
    • Green chilies
    • Finely chopped Coriander leaves
    Method:
    • Sieve besan into a bowl. This helps to remove the lumps of besan if any. Add lemon juice,
    turmeric powder, sugar, salt and mix everything well together.
    • Add hot oil and mix well.
    • Add a little water at a time and mix well.
    • Beat the batter well for about 5 minutes.
    • Add eno fruit salt, water and mix well.
    • Batter is all ready.
    • Grease a tray well with oil and pour out the batter into it.
    • Heat up water in a cooker.
    • Remove the whistle and place a stand at the base of the cooker.
    • Place the dhokla tin on it and close the lid.
    • Steam the dhokla on medium heat for about 15 minutes.
    • Remove the lid and check with tooth pick.
    • If it comes out clean it means the dhokla is steamed well.
    • Take the tray out and let it cool down completely.
    • Take water in a bowl and add salt, sugar.
    • Mix well and keep the syrup aside.
    • Loosen the edges of the tray and flip it over into a dish.
    • Cut dhokla into pieces and sprinkle syrup on it.
    • For tadka heat up oil in a tadka pan.
    • Add mustard seeds and let them pop up.
    • Add hing, green chilies and mix well.
    • Spread this tadka on the dhokla and garnish with coriander leaves
    • Dhokla is all ready.
