Anyone actually ever finished this and have a quick summary of the story? I always fall asleep 30mins in and between work like personal time family time and chores, I don’t have enough time on my hand to finish.
The young boy gets recruited by the tree cutter who turns out to be the general of the emperors army. He then swears to build a great mansion for his mother once he becomes a samurai. He kills a great beast and builds his aging mom the mansion he promised her. Thats the story in broad strokes
