      Linda Chen hello it was on high for 6 hours then on low for one and a half hours and then back on high for the last ten minutes for the flour to cook out. Hope this helps.

    Why half an onion? Just put the whole thing in.

      Personally I don't like too much onion. If you want to put a whole on in, fill your boots.
