- Dinosaur Simulator has gotten a recode in the last month, and it's amazing! It's probably the single best update Dinosaur Simulator has ever gotten on its 9 years in Roblox. The recode has changed many core mechanics in the game, changing how the game operates. This video will explain EVERYTHING the recode has added, from the new currency SDNA to the changes in DNA farming, new mechanics, and new settings!

DNA is a little... confusing in the update, but you earn WAY MORE than before!
If you're a little confused on how it works comment below, but here are things you want to earn Optimal DNA:
1. Day 100 Dinosaur
2. Dinosaur is on Playables BOOST
3. You are in a BOOSTED Region
4. Your server is full of people (30/30)

as an old DS player, playing since 2015, I feel like they should really bring back their black fridays where everything came back on sale, and make it more expensive if they need to. Super limited supplies and aggressive economies ruins games
No. Im already seeing a few hybrids on EVERY server. Earlier i saw only one in a month. They are supposed to be rare and not as common as tyrannosaurus

@@IAmNotBob. clearly you haven’t been around that long because anybody who was around back when albino was back onsale during black friday knows that it barey effected to nor al amount everyone saw in every server. Maybe like 5 more concurrent players per server would have it for the next few months
@texantourguide I started playing in February of 2019. I played a lot and I saw megavore only twice. After the 2020 Black Friday,I saw a few megavores and albinos on almost every server.

I never grinded stuff in this game cause afking for that long was so incredibly boring, but this is absolutely incredible, THANK YOU UNHATCHED

when chicken stopped doing updates for months and once a year i completely thought that it was Dinosaur Simulators downfall and ultimate discontinued game. But with these remodels, QoL changes, new dinosaurs, and etc has really made the game come back to life.
Nah they only came back to ds because da didnt work out even though its better than ds

@@Billy_EaterOf_Souls Have you seen the state of the game? It's a pay to win type of game with a toxic environment. Devs are also probably under paid and are suffering from burnout. There are so many bugs and glitches that will never get fixed. It's hard to play as anything below a tier 5 and even then the best tier fives are hard to get. The map is too small for anything bigger than a large creature to fix on. Events are just pay to win or grinding for hours on end now. I could keep ranting on and on, I could give you a longer list of problems, but those are the few that came to mind.

is afk farming still viable? or do u get less than u did just not as much as u do w/ the bonuses
I'm still gonna afk in ps because I dont feel save being in public having the risk to lose my progress from kosers plus I don't have the time to sit 8 hours a day worrying if I'll get killed
The only sad thing is i lost my acc and my progress😭 and i spend so much time on that acc i has almost have every skin known

I feel like they should add a safe mode feature to prevent kosing, which players can turn on or off.
Bro that would just ruin the point of the game and it would be way to easy
@YEZxEX You know, not everyone wants to get kosed by a pack of dinos. There's not really a certain point to the game. The safe mode could slow down the growing process but not everyone wants to pvp, and many just have the intention of socializing with the players.
@@OrdinaryEli1 I mean yeah, I sure as hell like that idea. Most the time of im just dna grinding. But still, theres lots of people who play with the intent of fighting and kosing, and this would just take this whole aspect of the game out of
@@YEZxEX True, many players do play for that intention, but that just proves that there would still be people who wouldnt use the safe mode, because they want to fight as well. So both parties would be satisfied.
