Beth is right about the door! The doors represents memories, the thing is Ian/Mr.Insanity WANT to open the doors and see these memories however, they don’t know which ones are traumatic memories. This is where Mito comes in; He tries to prevent Ian from trying to steal the keys and open the door so he doesn’t have to relive traumatic memories. Mito is Ians protector. (this is what Christian has said in lives and interviews) and we see all of that coming to a head in “So I Danced” with Mito trying to take back the keys that Mr.Insanity took.
Also I’m glad you’re getting more people into him, he deserves WAY more love.
