    For those asking why there are only 2 european stadiums: Europe generally has either old stadiums which look good or simply do renovations on their old stadiums so the cost is much lower. Example of 1: Benifca's Estadio da Luz, was cheap because it was built a long time ago. Example of 2: Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu is undergoing a 600M renovation but is going to look better than most stadiums here.

    • @doom893
      @doom893 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Imagine how much cost it would add for the roof. If it has one it's almost always a dome. I'm American and prefer the stadiums built elsewhere around the world. Very few stadiums here have any character anymore, they're just big and expensive with a cool video screen. Big friggin deal. Character is what made the old Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park, or Wrigley Field what they were. Nothing ties the stadiums to its surrounding areas much, rarely features any view, it's just boring. Look at SoFi, it's a $5 billion dumpster fire. But it's a got a cool video screen soooo....

      @@doom893 literally every modern "soccer" stadium and multiple purpose stadium has a roof. How was the new Giants/Jets stadium so expensive without a roof whereas Tottenham Hotspur stadium was cheaper with a complete roof, retractable pitches and generally being an incredible stadium?

    • @doom893
      @doom893 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lukesmith8813 that's the point! You and I both agree it doesn't make sense, but if it costs 1.5 billion without a roof it's going to cost more to add the roof. The "fan experience" and video screens aren't enough to justify those costs. I go games to watch the game itself, not for the experience of watching the big screen and paying for overpriced shit drinks and food. This is why my big screen at home works fine now.

    I always find videos that basically hose and screw 🪛 over royally the citizens of State of New Jersey. New Jersey has some of the most beautiful sports facilities in the world 🌎. However, with those facilities, comes the problem of its geographical location. MetLife Stadium 🏟️ is physically located in the Borough of East Rutherford, Bergen County, New Jersey. It is home to the NFL's New York Jets, the New York Giants and the XFL New York Guardians. The other problem? Beautiful facilities, but the wrong team name, the wrong city and the wrong team state. This also goes to another New York team. The New York Red Bulls 🐂. They physically play at Red Bull 🐂 Arena, located in the town of Harrison, Hudson County, New Jersey. They should be referred to as the New Jersey Red Bulls 🐂. Period. There is nothing New York about them. All their practice facilities, the stadium 🏟️ and it's headquarters are physically located in New Jersey. I am sick and tired of New Jersey being played second-fiddle to New York City and Philadelphia, our neighbors across the Hudson and Delaware Rivers, respectfully. New Jersey never gets any credit, which is due to our state's image problem, and, its unfortunate geographical location.

      @@sungshin393 yup it really does look like a typical college football stadium. And wow, I can’t believe the Vikings stadium cost less, it’s so much nicer. I guess a lot of the Levi’s stadium cost must’ve been due to the insane price of land in Silicon Valley -but don’t quote me on that.

    Money wasted! All of these stadiums will become ashes when *Jesus Christ* returns.
    Matthew 24:2 “And *Jesus* said to them, Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down."
    Time is ticking, don’t be left behind *Jesus* is coming.

    5 billion dollars for a stadium in LA, how about investing some of that money to solve future water crisis and wild fires in California. We humans have completely lost the plot.
