i love how we pushed vanilla wow to its limits, with all the engineering stuff, the trinkets, potions etc used in pvp, you can pull out some crazy moves and it's really fun to watch, way better than all the 2006 og vanilla videos

I guess modui shows the castbar under their unit frame and their nameplate, but what addon keeps track of enemy cds above the unit frame? Would also like to know what addon shows cc used on you in the middle of the screen.
Warrior actually pressed 4 buttons: hamstring, mortal strike, whirlwind and overpower. After that rogue has 700 hp, and autoattacks are 700 dmg each. Fun and interactive. And remember - it's one of the best rogues

Whilst not intuitive you should run more akin to a PvE damage rotation except keeping 30 energy up for kick/blind for interrupts. With WOTF+Trinket that's 54 seconds before he can fear you, even with shadow form damage reduction and inner fire you should be able to pull off 300+DPS (assuming you don't have loads of +hit gear and the like) with combat spec popping cooldowns like adrenaline rush, putting you at around an 16k damage output in that time-frame. Assuming he deals 4k damage to you and has imp. vamp embrace and 100% uptime on it that'll give him 1200 healing, if you first sap and then restealth his first PW: shield will wear off when you jump him meaning he can cast "only" 4 PW: shields = around 5800 damage absorbed. Together with his 5K HP that's in total 11,600 damage you need to do assuming he doesn't go out of shadowform to heal. Granted, this is all on paper now and real life DPM in PvP is never optimal (a blackout proc, fear isn't trinketed instantly etc) but 12k damage target with an 16k damage capacity in that time window means you can even have the guy dead realistically at around the 45 second mark (maybe even before he pops that fourth PW:Shield). Meanwhile if you kick mindflay/mindblast he has no source of damage output in Shadowform other than PW:Pain and wand/autoattack (which he doesn't appear to be using) . He may go out of Shadowform to heal or smite but then he'll lose the damage reduction and you can still cancel his casts (although not his HoT) before finishing with blind (worst case imp. gouge) or buy time with a preemptive grenade the moment he dips out of Shadowform. If the pressure is on you can kick his heals right before they finish should he attempt to cast them. Initially mindflay/mindblast should be the priority though because in the same 54 sec timeframe he can almost squeeze in 2 x PW:Pains for close to your total HP, one mindflay or mindblast may just spell death for you and blackout procs carry the biggest risk of losing you the game. If you're running a shadow reflector it's worth shadow reflecting a mindblast rather than a fear since it swings for around 2k (1k damage blocked 1k damage given) and is especially powerful when chained with kick. Time is not on our side, it's a flat out damage race and assuming RNG jesus with blackout procs isn't on our side an undead combat Rogue should be favored assuming we don't slip up. I am not sure if mind poison is worth the risk of using but since you do have spring in case he gets range on you with a blackout proc it may just work. So yeah, sap first and wait for his shield to come off and burn burn burn his ass. Note that the approach is radically different vs an Undead or Troll Shadow Priest. Their damage output is significantly greater, with higher risk of blackout procs (troll shadow orbs are actually pretty scary, dealing around 1k damage and giving 3 chances of blackout each refresh) but on the flipside you can blind them which is pretty huge (especially for prep rogues).
damn dude, what a breakdown, appreciate the time you put into this couple things here - sapping off shields isn't something I wanted to do, it prolongs the fights and imo is less entertaining both for the players and the viewer, although the number crunch is a cool way to approach the fight stoneform (clear crippling) & turning from backstabs can make it incredibly difficult to do dps, not to mention the fact it removes blind & increases armour which even further mitigates damage. stun resistance is also something you've gotta predict in a fight like this (which is why I prefer eviscerate finishers) and the fact he can turn from gouge when he casts, or can fake an interrupt. ultimately I think there's better specs for this (namely hemo/cb based with imp poisons, deadly/wound even to force an early stoneform and get a free blind after) and retrospectively, that would've been cool to show, maybe next time! (I was pretty obsessed with keeping it all backstab based since it's more difficult - when backstab doesn't crit I'm hitting 400s) & shadow reflector doesn't reflect fear :p
Not a fraction of the time you put into making these cool vids :) Stoneform is a PITA but its duration isn't endless and he's gonna be cautious to use it just to clear crippling because that opens up for blind. We also have sprint, but similar situation as for the Priest, can't use it needlessly. Grenades can help catch up. The 10% physical reduc from Stoneform is for 8 seconds. So if we're going for an ambitous 40s target that's 20% of the fight duration and thus only a 2% damage reduction overall. It's rather negligible, although it can become more impactful if he does it when you adrenaline rush (but... opens himself up to blind). As for backstabs, they don't need to hit the moment you have energy really since they're not cooldown abilities, even if it takes a second or even two to spazz them in there as long as you don't top out the energy meter you're good. You're not stunlocking so quick CP generation is less important here. - I think combat is fine for this type of matchup but yes, combat DAGGER may not be ideal. I'd expect combat Swords to perform better. EDIT: and I thought shadow reflector did, hah! you learn something new every day in this game

Nice video, fun to see players not just cherry picking their wins. The Spriest duels though were misplayed pretty badly.

@fps spekk, this is kronos 1. spriests are dope & hella viable in pvp, usually most pve guilds run just 1 though :)

Rewatched this today, 30.16 still baffles me. Insta trinket vs PoM Sheep, what the hell is that? Some kind off 'if buffed' polymorph use itemslot macro? Actually I just realized those macros would work well for insta blind vs mage iceblock too.
those macros haven't worked on kronos since 2013. if you watch my action button you can see me pressing it after he cancels ib. just a reactive press =)

@@perp- All good man, hard to catch everything. Was a nice movie. About 50% of it was 5-8 kiting warriors which is a little boring, but I loved the montage of world PvP in the middle. Will we be seeing you on the retail Classic realms?
