@Alejandro Ezequiel thanks for your reply. I got to the site through google and Im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
beautiful... can't wait to fly in this plane... looks so cool🙏🏻 what an awesome journey seeing it all come together... thanks for sharing this ✈️ (i need an AirNZ koru emoji! 😜)
Cool video, the plane looks great!! Guttered we didn't see the interior fitting... hope to see an inside tour video soon Air New Zealand!! Thanks you 😘😘😘
I don't know if seeing a plane being made makes me feel more safe or less safe about being in a metal tube 40,000 feet in the air, but it was very satisfying to watch that paint job
Epic video and a beautiful plane! I am travelling to NZ (From Germany) at the end of the year and hoping to see these beautiful machines there. Love you, AirNZ :-)
I believe the first one starts flying in mid-November, so you should be in luck. Also, make sure you declare _any_ food, animal products, or plant products that you bring with you in order to avoid delays or fines when you arrive; NZ has very strict biosecurity laws that are the bane of many an uninformed tourist. It might be a good idea to check the NZ biosecurity website so you can avoid bringing things that will be seized or require you to pay for heat treatment.
@@FromUSAwithLove Haha yeah, the MPI inspectors will make quite a fuss if they find even a single little seed stuck to your boots. On the other hand, sometimes there's quite a massive line in the 'nothing to declare' queue, so having something like a pair of 'dirty' hiking boots (or even just a packet of chips in your bag) to get you into the inspection queue can end up getting you through customs quicker.
I was happy with what I saw of progress in aviation to New Zealand dear to my heart I have lived there for several years and its peaceful people to Permanent development in the fieldsone of your many lovers is from Saudi Arabia
Crappy 787s? Obviously dont know much about aircraft do you. Fortunately AirNZ long haul is not going AirBus, unfortunately the accountants got their way on short haul hence we have Ansett Australia's Airbus hangover after 40 years of flawless B73 ops in New Zealand. Feel free to fly other airlines who purchase toy planes for long haul.
@Incognito English is not my 1st language. I meant to say the Boeing Max would make more justice to such a mournful painting (resembles a hearse). It was meant to be a joke, but didn't quite make it.
Great choice of airplane! I came here by chance but have to say you choose the right plane! Airbus are so much nicer, quieter, roomier and with far superior heating/ventilation that the comparable Boeings. I love flying in Lufthansa A321 (not a NEO) it being so long I felt I was in bigger plane. I don't get that felling even on a huge Jumbo as it has a lot of bulkheads separating Classe so the A321 always felt huge.
I love your livery color! 😍😍😍 Keep it up! ANZ is my favourite airline in terms of livery design. Hope you guys can make more black liveries to your planes!
They probably could but critical things like fluid leaks and loose bolts, marks etc would be more difficult to spot especially at night the same reason behind the choice of floor color for aircraft hangers being white or very light grey.
Air new zealand planes looks cool but there is a reason why in the aviation most of the airlines using mostly white paint . It is not just more cost effective but it keeps the airplane cool and protect from the sun and for safety easier to notice any cracks. Also if they wanna sell at some point their aircraft it is way much harder work to repaint. It is quite brave that Air New Zealand keeps doing this design
This video is amazing considering how restricted filming locations are in such a complicated environment. I’m amazed the cameraman wasn’t even pushed around during the video lol.
The tail, also known as the rudder, needs to be painted before delivery to ensure that it is perfectly balanced and takes into account the weight of the paint. As this is a specialty shop that builds these rudders, it makes sense that they would do the careful painting to ensure that it is completely flawless. Otherwise the rudder could start fluttering if not 100% perfectly balanced.
Paint a plane they said. Damn it turned out great I said! Isn't black a no go color when it comes to planes though? How does it handle the hot summer sun?
the key tossing part is cute.. lol
There not even keys in planes. I like it even more
A plane doesn’t have keys 😂😂
Epic 01 What..
Alexander Meme major commercial aircraft don’t use keys, anyone can open the door and get into the plane if they can reach it
@@blewis42002 Yeah i know, it's just extremely weird english Epic 01 used
Hands down the most beautiful branding in the airline industry. Well done Air NZ!
Awesome Air New Zealand, what an epic new plane.👍

The interior may have only been fitted after the plane arrived in New Zealand.
You do some GREAT Marketing, you guys. I love your content. Big shout out to the departments!!!

Very cool. One of the best paint schemes out there ANZ. Sober and classy.
Iconic airline. Love seeing an Air NZ airplane at a foreign airport.
Thanks god it's not a 737 max
Is this a good replacement for the Boeing 737-Max 8?
Japheth Hamilton yes it is

The a320neo is closer in seating capacity.
She circled over my office here in Hamburg, Germany, a few times on her test flights. Hope to visit NZ one day...
Air NZ has the best livery, it always looks perfect on any aircraft!
I have flown on this exact plane from Melbourne to Auckland
really good video. props to the motion designers
Massive respect for the editor(s) and camerman👊
Parabéns a todos os envolvidos , bonito demais!!!

The Beluga is one funny looking air cargo 😅
He big brain and smart
0:33 Yup, that's *definitely* the official Airbus assembly checklist. Really cool video though.
This movie is better than netflix ones
I flew in ZK-NNA in january from Gold Coast-Auckland one if the best flights
Congrats Air New Zealand! from the Philippines! Mabuhay!
The black beauty.... 🖤🖤🖤
BEST AIRLINE EVER!!!
The best airlines ever are emirates
Maybe but I'll still count qantas the best and the safest airline ever
b set aviation fan 2020 yes
Isnt it Qatar Airways
Wow, looks like an amazing plane and I love the video!!!! 😍
Beautiful
I would love to see an a350 with Air New Zealand livery.
That would be great😂😊
I Love Air New Zealand Fleet Both Airbus,ATR & Boeing right through.
Can air new Zealand just start a low cost airline because
Qantas does not want small planes except 737
It has it's own low cost airline called JetStar
Wow

A proud moment to be a Kiwi.
Air New Zealand, what a great choice for your fleet. Now dump those crappy 787 Screamliners and look at the a350's.

Can't wait to see it congrats Air NZ
Looks amazing in black! I wish it'd be used more often...
Glad you didn't get the max
Although it would be more fit to the grief painting
The planes wear black to mourn for the competition.
@Incognito English is not my 1st language. I meant to say the Boeing Max would make more justice to such a mournful painting (resembles a hearse). It was meant to be a joke, but didn't quite make it.
So is qantas if qantas did get the 737 max they will sell it back
And the a321 neo in the other hand
Jetstar will get the a321 neo

How this a321neo fly from Toulouse to Auckland?? How many fuelstop and where?

It's even better than Airbus.
flew on ZK-OYB which was also constructed at hamburg
Will the black color not increase the temperature so the air condition will need more energy?
Are you guys getting the XLR, looks to be in range of Hawaii, from Auckland.
I doubt it, they normally fly a 787-9 or 777-200ER
Looks beautiful.
Now this is what I call good content!
when they were respraying the aircraft, why did it have the teal livery on it?
Savery they must have used footage from a different plane to show it getting painted thinking no one would notice.
Thought the same thing but it is just the colour you can see the font is the new air New Zealand one

John Eddy Pratt and Whitney. All a321neos use these. Hope this helps!
