Hey guys! I got a new TPO website from one of my subscribers "108電子乙05方宇澤". Thank you for his suggestion! There is other information on the website like IELTS. This is the link directly to TOEFL TPO. toefl.kmf.com
Here are instruction to sign up on xiaozhan and kmf by using your phone number. They don't require a Chinese number for registration while xdf requires. Click on the link to xiaozhan in description. Click on TPO. It will require you to register. There is a sentence on the right bottom saying "非大陆手机号码入口". There you can put your phone number if you don't have a Chinese number. Click on it and put your number. On kmf, you can just choose your country and put your number. If you can't translate the website on Google, you can download the Google Translate App on your cellphone. It can translate the website from your phone camera. After registration, you can practice on TPO.
Below are the 5 books that I borrowed from the library. Hope this helps!
1. Longman Preparation Course for the TOEFL ® iBT Test (It sorts out different types of questions so you can practice on the same type of questions. There are also mini tests and full tests)
2. The Official Guide to the TOEFL Test (This one is a little bit easy)
3. Official TOEFL IBT Tests Volume 1 (I couldn't find the volume 2 in the library)
4. Kaplan TOEFL iBT(It has 4 full length practice tests)
5. Barron's practice exercises for the TOEFL (The version that I borrowed is old, so I didn't use this one a lot)

I’m going to take the exam on 11 September and this is my first time to take😢 toefl is too hard…! I was wondering if I should take the ielts test in stead of toefl next time🤣 Since I didn’t totally understand each section before I took it😵 now I’m preparing it and I think it is much harder than ielts!!!😢😢😢
@@user-qn5yj4or9z Where are you going to study or live in the future? If it's north America, I'd suggest taking TOEFL. TOEFL is hard since it requires you to finish under time pressure. But this is really helpful for your future study. And if you get familiar with TOEFL, it is not too hard since the questions are similar. And it's easy to improve your score. Hope this helps. You can check the schools' websites to see which one's requirement is easier. My school only requires 80 points for TOEFL but 6.5 for IELTS. Besides, TOEFL helps you learn the American culture sometimes. And the accent in TOEFL is American accent. Hope this is helpful. Feel free to talk with me if you have any questions!

Hello, I really like the videos of Reading you have done . But my question is I am always stuck in Reading with either 16 or 17 but I am supposed to get a 23 in Reading section . I am aware of all the question types and strategies but still struggling with reading section . Can you please guide me in this regard. Thank you
Hi Galla If you are familiar with question types and strategies, the next step is to practice on TPO. You can time yourself to do 1-2 passages first. Remember to review later. Try to figure out why you make mistakes. Then keep practicing and your goal is to finish 3 - 4 passages within time requirement. If you find you often make mistakes on some specific types of questions. Try to practice more on these questions. Hope this helps. When are you going to take TOEFL?
Hello , Thank you very much for the response .I have not yet booked the TOEFL because I am not sure to get a 23 in reading because earlier when I took TOEFL on June 23(2021), I got a 16 score in reading so I want to take time to practice .I have one more question like do we really have to read the passages based on certain TOPICS like botany , natural sciences ,Astrology or else after taking the TPO test and checking answers , is it good to read the complete passage also to get familiar with the vocabulary and flow of passages.
@@luckygalla9400 Hi Galla I think you have a really great strategy! If you have time, prepare well before taking TOEFL. Don't waste your money if you're not ready! Regarding to your question, no need to read the whole passage. I did it at the beginning. Just like you said, I wanted to know more vocabulary. But it wasted a lot of time. Only focus on the information you need to answer for the questions. Review those questions you make mistakes on. Then practice on the next TPO. There are a lot of TPO, so don't waste time on one passage. You won't remember the vocabulary in this way. Practice on your reading skills first. Hope this helps!

Hi Celia 如果剩下一周，我会建议多抄抄 testresources上的 writing samples，提高写作文的流畅度。另外就是将自己之前写得文章放进去grammarly看看犯的语法错误，尽量避免考试时犯同样的语法错误。而speaking中阅读的速度，你可以参考我另一个video th-cam.com/video/Gd0OiWSnzio/w-d-xo.html 因为口语中，基本上阅读的文章第一段是重要信息，其他是补充信息，之后复述不一定用到，在有限的时间就重点关注第一段。在看的时候抓keyword，不要一字一字。希望这些可以帮到你！如果有其他问题，再留言我啦，谢谢！

hi, i am preparing for toefl, sometimes i will be practicing some TPO reading sets, but i am always not sure about the answers i did,(especially summary questions) however i always got 8/10 or 9/10, is this something that is normal, i am afraid i might mess up on the real test?? Can you give me some advice?
Hi 方宇澤! We'll know how the real exam is only after we take it. Only at that moment, we will know if our preparation is enough. I'd suggest practicing on different materials under time pressure, such as TPO, toeflbank, official books. This will help you get used to different types of questions, and it can improve your confidence! If your English is great, you can get high score without much preparation. Be confident about yourself and well prepared for TOEFL. When are you going to take it?
@@CarrieJi I will be taking at the end of august, the preparation i do now are practice sets in KMF, sometimes i also to sets in the toefl guide official book. By the way, I really like the videos you have done, there are many useful techniques and tactics. Actually, i took the test 2 years ago, but i only got a 89 without sufficient preparation (ￗ﹏ￗ ), I aim for 100up this time.

Hi Joy Thank you for your comment! Welcome to my channel! I'd suggest see the playlist "TOEFL Overall tips and strategies" first and get the general ideas of TOEFL. Then go to the websites in the video "top 9 free TOEFL resources" and do a mock exam to see how far you're away from your expected score. Then you can start to prepare for each section and check out the corresponding playlists. I prepared for TOEFL as this order: reading -> listening -> speaking ->writing. Hi Wel It seems xdf requires Chinese numbers to register. I'd suggest registering on the other website toefl.zhan. There are also a lot of TPO there. Since your test is 4 days later, just do a few practice. Spend a little bit time reviewing the template for speaking and writing! Hope this helps and good luck!

Please only use the link in my description because there are other tests on the website. The link is directly to the toefl tests. Did you use google translate to translate the website? If you can't translate the website on Google, you can download the Google Translate App on your cell phone. Then use your camera to translate the website. Follow the steps in my last reply.
