Exceptional small town transit!

I took a ride (more like many rides) on Blacksburg Transit, an agency that operates buses in Blacksburg and Christiansburg, VA. BT's routes in Blacksburg are largely oriented around the campus of Virginia Tech, a university home to thousands of students.

This is kinda nitpicky, but I think BT is entirely focused on Virginia Tech. Every route but 1-2 have the default purpose of bringing students from off campus housing to campus. That is also helpful for townspeople because they probably have jobs on or near campus, but it's really designed entirely around Virginia Tech. PS, PHD is Patrick Henry Drive (many of the routes are named for the roads they connect to campus lol)
