So it says the code was entered right and the key is in my social mail. But I looked and nothing? O.o
Did everything as he said (ps4) it doesn’t ask for anything, and got to keep the keys. i’m so Glad it’s as easy as doing it in bl3 lol. Also i recommend Stocking up on keys in the mail so you can claim 3 keys at a time instead of just only 1 at a time.
So its good for ps5 then im gonna assume ? You're the goat for trying this on console!

@@lanceison490 don't when the game came out I used the glitch to get myself up to about 500 too but now I've got modded gear there not needed 🤣
My friend owns a FB modding group for guns shields and everything and I refused to go near em till I completed the game
FYI if you save your keys you can do multiple each time

Edit: I tested it out on the dragon lord items and it does not work. I did at least get a chaotic apex though 🤷♂️
Question, What are you skill choices and stats for your Deadshot? I made one (graveborn+spellshot), I just gave up and re-made the character because I didnt see any synergy with the 2 classes. How are you playing it primarily? Guns? Spells? Action skill?
I just got to lvl 40 so, take this with a grain of salt, but I'm finding amazing synergy with a lot of the skills as long as you don't take the Glass Cannon skill. Use Ambi-hextrous with whatever spells strike your fancy. Also, use Dark Magic guns as much as humanly possible
@@cortsilver2564 I remade my Graveborn and so far he's single class, I REALLY like the Dire Sacrifice explosion coupled with a dark magic calamity and a dm assault rifle.
I have a separate Spellshot, the Ambi-hextrous and spellweaving stacking thing rocks too! Enjoying her single classed too, lol.
@@Gunsmoke1084 with your spellshot I recommend pairing her with a clawbringer or stabomancer, seeing as the both just got a sizable buff
Deadshot was my first class and I was able to become a spell flinging torrent 😋

I did this as soon as they released the key I wasn't even surprised it worked since they never really cared to fix it in 3 lol I just ran through the game
I don't think it is fixable, since your ingame mailbox is client based.
I mean they could definitely make a reading software to read if u got keys and remove them from your mail box when u re connect to prevent it.....but I don't think it's so op that they even care for fixing it

If y'all don't know yet... Get a buffmeister and use it before all loot opens. Especially the bunnies at the end of chaos runs. Use buffmeister open the chest and watch the gold!
@@juniorbeltran2343 hey bubba, it's a spell that buffs literally every stat you have. For now... Including luck. I got a couple from the bunnies and a couple from random drops, both in chaos runs.

Wait so u don't have to turn the internet/Ethernet back on when repeating the key collection?
This is a thing since borderlands the presequel that way i farmed 255 golden keys, BUT it works with codes that give you weapons too, it works on bl3 to with Diamond keys

you dont need to shut off your router or unplug internet just go into your system settings in whatever console or system your in and turn the network off that way. on computer that should be super fast. consoles it just allows you to not turn the internet to other items.

Does the mail go away after you reconnect to the internet?
Went offline,accepted key, went back online to mail and nothing but one key in inventory, no key in mail. This been patched ( Xbox) or did I do something out of order?
Where do you get the golden armor at if you preorder the game
you dont really get armor for the preorder. Its just a color they add to the rest of the colors you can use to customize your character in Quick-Change Station at the Tavern. Same goes for the Dragon Lord "Pack". They are not skins, but just a bunch of options that combined make you look like a Dragon Lord, hence they call it a PACK instead of a SKIN. You can find the Dragon Lord Pack/skin in the presents.

The same glitch was in bl3 I tested to see if it was in this one I bet anyone that knew about the bl3 glitch has tried it for themselves

Did everything like ya said!! I got 10 keys and went back into game and DID NOT GRAB KEY AGAIN!!! Went back online and left key in mailbox!!! Hoping that when I run out of keys ill always have 1 n mailbox!!

i wonder if you back up you're save to PSN, turn off auto uploading.
use the keys to help out then redownload you're upload, i wonder if the key count will go back to normal.

Total backpack space is 70 but its super expensive. Only one I am missing is the final bank slot, which I decided not needed
what's total storage space though.

"Error occurred during travel" - When trying to retrieve keys offline.
Maybe try spending the keys before you go back online
I used the codes but didn’t receive the keys and they didn’t go to the mail tab
On xbox after 5 times it told me “this app needs to be online” or something close to thet effect and wouldnt open the app had to spam A for like a minute then it stole it from my mailbox lol
anyone else's shift codes not working, yeah i opened a ticket with gear box about a week ago and still no response.
So whenever I go to the social tab my game either freezes or crashes and it is very annoying. Does anyone know how to fix the issue? I'm on PS5 by the way.
If you're on playstation follow him but after you go offline and use key(s) go to games main menu then close game and turn back on internet and open game and rise and repeat... doesn't work for me when I go online in the in game main menu ONLY WHEN I CLOSW GAME AND GO BACK ONLINE

I did the following steps on ps5 I just cut the internet off my console grab the keys exit out with out reconnecting to the internet I load game and keys are there again I'm getting 2 keys at a time hope this works for you guys as well

Can you keep your internet off? on ps5 and just keep closing game and reloading
@@Naughty1 you'll have to connect first but don't redeem.
Then turn off internet and quit the game
Don't close it completely just exit out to the main menu
Then load back up and repeat.

I’ve done this a few times and never got the sync issue.
Did they just fix this fast or? On Xbox when I go offline and load up my character, the key isn’t in my mail. It is every time I go back online however

Yep yep, works just like it did for bl3.
so basically you could speed it up doing the both codes to get both keys, disconnect and then you get 2 each time. sadly used both of mine from the mail but only one actual key. it'll probably be patched but I hope not by the next code.
This same glitch still works in Borderlands 3. It probably won't be patched for either game.

also if you wait till you can access chaos chamber and get to chaos Lv 20, then some of those legendaries can drop with the chaotic affixes, from what i heard.

@@sherry356 Im at level 40 on a Spellshot Graveborn with the base storyline complete already.. Took me about 30 hours to beat but thats including some side quest I did and some other stuff.. Don't worry about when you beat the game or when you hit level 40, just play the game and enjoy urself, take as long as you want.. And most of all just have fun while doing it, this game was a blast honestly and I wish I didnt already beat it, so much replay value in my opinion tho, I'm hyped for the end game coming up for me and all the dlc content coming out soon! @@josht1663 nothing no new helmets or heads, I already beat the game and went through the Chaos Chamber and there is no Chaos gear they mentioned about
@@josht1663 There's a few things, I don't think I've found any new hairstyles but I did find some mask, there's this metal one and a bandana mask.. Its in the tab where you change ur facial hair, called something like "facial hair and mask" just scroll through the facial hair options till you get to the mask, its mixed together.. I also didnt have those mask at the start, they are a drop item from enemies.. I believe more hairstyles and helmets and mask will be added later with other content in this season

I have Ethernet I’m plugged in I can play every other game but whenever I go to enter a code it keeps saying connection error connect to WiFi wtf I have Ethernet
Game has been having server issues, Gearbox said they are working on a fix but don't have a exact time estimate yet, been down for about 12 hours or more.. Can't remember when it started acting up.. Hopefully this helps, don't trip thinking its ur WiFi or console, its literally just the game, devs are trying to fix it.. Every game at launch normally has server issues due to over population on a server because everyone wants to play and it overwhelms it causing a server crash and failure, hopefully by this afternoon or tonight its working

ya but with the chaos chamber the chest doesnt seem so useful and iv got 900 keys from this yes you can get chaotic and volatile from it tho
and that's based on what, if you got the keys you can farm th chest faster than farming the chambers, and being that you can get chaotic/volatile gear from it it could be considered more viable not to mention the vending machines being right there so you can trash unwanted gesr as soon as you backpack is full, no waste of messing with lost loot or losing any loot because of a full loot machine, no dealing with enemies, it is just as viable if not more so to farm the chest as it is farming the Chaos Chamber,

easy on ps5 dont even need to quit to main menu hover over keys go to settings disconnect from internet collect keys go straight back to settings connect wait for them to appear and complete steps again

Opening the chest over and over too fast will create a massive amount of lag for 3-5 minutes don’t open more than 3 or so at a time.
you can only open a new chest once you grab all the stuff from the current one anyway

umm bull, like stated the chest can't be opened until it has been emptied, also you are wrong on the lag as I've used 25+ keys back to back with 0% issues multiple times

No as the glitch has been around for ages, so you'll be fine.
You won’t be banned. Same glitch as on BL3. Even got in touch with customer service when I upgraded to PS5 and my 800 keys were gone. They added those 800 keys back to my account with no issues.

All these people complaining must be new to BL. Way back with BL2 it was heavy with all kinds of people glitching, duping, and modding online, and it didn't spoil things like people think. It's practically part of the game at this point. In this series you play how you want and people enjoy it, simple as that.
People just don't get the Gearbox vibe and it shows dude. Gearbox Borderlands games are meant to be FUN people these days moan at anything. This has worked on every Borderlands game to date LUL. 😂

I can keep getting keys without turning off the internet. just by going back n forth between shift and mailbox every less than 2 minutes a new one pops up
