That was an amazing hotel, space ships for their elevators and that LA Prime Lounge was beautiful and luxurious! I loved the whole thing. Thanks for acknowledging me again with the Usher music video "U Don't Have To Call" from 2001 being filmed there! This stream and streams today are also memorable because I brought in my Birthday on your stream on the East Coast!
Words can't even describe how awsome these 2 streams were. It was so much fun AK with Sergio showing us around. This stream was Epic. Thankyou AK and Sergio.❤ AK, you are 🌞 on a cloudy day!
AK you do such great videos...when I studied at USC down the street me and my buddies used to visit the Westin Bonaventure all the time for lunch all the time, I later stayed there..so many memories brought back you are awesome!...and you still walked by my office building in downtown Clearwater...that is so cool! The Westin Peachtree Plaza in Atlanta...the tallest tower in the city was also built by John Portman...the same architect...as the Westin Bonaventure...
Love Sergio.. He reminds me SO much of Vin Diesel. Great Video again, your talents are amazing AK!! You have a gift to take people to places and make them feel as they have both learned and experienced. Great Job!!
In architecture the elevators are called "capsule elevators". Popular from the late 1960s-late 1980s. They were an innovation in their period and added modernism to the atrium lobby.
Nick of Time was one movie filmed there starring Johnny Depp plus many more. Go downstairs to see all the movie posters in frames that have been filmed in there. So many!
I guess we know where the 1980s TV sitcom IT'S A LIVING was based ! Sergio looks the type of guy that old AK would need to have to exlpore brownsville NYC at night !
So glad you started the 2nd stream and shared with us the interior of the Westin Bonaventure!! Thanks AK and Sergio for the informative and enthusiastic stream!! 🤩
@@giuliaamendola9890 Unfortunately yeah, I get it I live in the Philippines on a beach, everyday folks smile and enjoy whatever they have...diving, dogs, playing music, sharing space without hype, seriously traveling the planet is without boredom!
Did you see AK's other night life videos? I think this one was more about getting a cool view of the city from the downtown area as opposed to showing off the night life at the street level. It'd be like saying NYC is dead because the streets seem empty around Wall Street on a Saturday night (area is known for being eerily empty on weekends while being bustling on weekdays).

The hotel was so cool to see and loved the elevators! Happy Birthday yet again!
@@ActionKid Yes 👍 Thank you so much AK! 😃
Parts of the 'Interstellar' movie were shot inside here, the underground NASA base. Also, I think 'True Lies' with Arnold was shot in there.

Scenes from Heat, Rainman, Interstellar, In the Line of Fire and many more films were filmed at this hotel.
Thanks for the LA views man. Miss it sometimes.
The Westin Peachtree Plaza hotel in Atlanta was also designed by the same architect. It has a revolving restaurant on the 73rd floor.

I went to this place in 1999. Good memories :)

8.54 new fan leaping out the water to see ak going by
Sergio Ak thanks 🙏🏻
The piano may be an original
I will be there in 2 weeks
I remember that shoot out, very infamous and deadly.
Sergio looks like a bodyguard
Should have waited and done that elevator ride without those girls.
I have been to restaurant [probably was Top of 5 when I went] and of course, had to ride elevator to get there.
They use to the awards there.
True Lies Annie's flick
Is another.

Feels so boring and dead there. Left California in 2016
Where’d u move? Miami is ok. I live in Asia now and never feel the boredom or meaningless I felt in the US
