Wait...thats just a slick deck. Some kid told me recently that he had never heard of a slick deck. I explained to him that 30 years ago, when I was skating in 7th grade ish, through highschool...that decks were either wood or "slicks" with a plastic like material on bottom. They were slightly more expensive, but held up to the tricks better. So I ask, do people ride slicks anymore...or is this an attempt to reinvent them?

Exactly my thought. Had the exact same slick on a Madness deck last year. Scratch off that yellow, there is probably still a Madness graphic underneath.
