Because there are people who suffer from a disease called envy. I wish people will get rid of that and just accept that we all live differently. There's nothing wrong in wearing a dress that costs less than 100 dollars or one that costs 100,000 dollars as long as you feel happy.

If I had a world famous designer father in law offering to make me the the most stunning dress for my big day, I would be so thrilled! I love Elie Saab´s dresses, they are so blingy somthing so special and extravagant. Princess Victoria had one the night before her wedding and it was jaw dropping beatiful.

I don't think people that complain are jealous I just think they hold a different cultural ethic. If people are very rich and they want to create a big spectacle about their wedding, and make a production that is very over-the-top and elaborate, of course they have the right to do that, and it's beautiful to watch these things. Just that others feel they would want to be more humble and just focus on the love in a tender way, perhaps give the rest of the money to the poor or a cause they believe in. Some people get married on a mountain top because they feel there could be no greater beauty then the nature that surrounds them. Everyone has different taste. Is one right and the other wrong? That gets very complicated, depends what moral code you follow.

My fiancé and I are older and we had the wedding of our dreams in a Cathedral that was so majestic it took everyone’s breathe away. We celebrated our 6th anniversary yesterday. Our regular church could not accommodate us, and miraculously the Cathedral had an opening. So I then knew I needed a LONG train.

When i got married my parents gave us the most beautiful wedding my dress back in 1973 cost my dad over 450 pounds and we had a magical day my dad worked as a electrician and drummer my mum also worked she was a manageress in a factory they also paid for my brothers wedding the year after mine and I’ve been married 51 years and even now i think back to me and my dad outside the church and it was priceless my parents told me that when i was little i always said that i wanted to be a princess when i get married well my parents made sure i was that princess for a day and from the bottom of my heart i thank them for loving me and my brother and for giving us beautiful wedding days

I don’t call this bulky uncomfortable dress, beautiful. No way! She was struggling so hard 😂 Also the extra extravagant hall and decor is not my type of imagination. Maybe because I am a minimalist and I like everything to be minimal yet elegant and classy even if I was this rich.
The dress was either too long or it was getting caught by the carpet. They should have had a dress rehearsal for the bride to see how the walk would go. Then they could have hemmed the dress a bit. Wedding was jaw dropping.
Of course there have been several dress rehearsals for the bride to see how the walk would go... bur during all rehearsals she was wearing 6-inch platform shoes (I know as I was one of the dressmakers in charge of the fittings), hence the dress' important length at the front. The dress rehearsals went well, but on the big day she tripped because of her impractical footwear and fell backstage a few minutes before her grand entrance. She decided to wear low shoes instead, and unfortunately it was too late to hem the dress.
All I need is a man who loves me so much and wants to marry me badly. Whether I'm wearing a rug or a gown worth a trillion as long as he's the right man. Congrats to the couple though, they deserved it after all the hard work 😊
