I’m uploading my own clear as well, where my DPS was Melody actually. I’m so excited for her AS, and wanted to use her against this. Took me a while though…..
I struggled with this one, so I watched this video to see what was going on. You mentioning non-type attacks gave me the idea to try Colette, which worked well. I tried with this team & won first try: Colette (120 light), Lloyd, Yipha AS, Iphi + Lokido/Nagi ES. I didn't worry about keeping below 9 buffs because Colette could take the full hp bar down with each turn anyway. In the turns where I was stalling I just re-applied buffs etc. The full HP shield on Colette (thanks to blessing/Yipha AS) helped a lot.
I used a combination of Mariel ES, Yipha AS, Mistrare AS and Radias AS. With Mariel ES I deploy Wind Zone and then alternate between Oratio Salutis and Regina Lumina skills. With Yipha I used Faith on Mistrare AS and alternate between her two AS moves. With Mistrare AS I only use Luna Cantus. And with Radias AS I alternate between Elemental Barrier and Overwhelmed.
I appreciate the real time commentary, wouldn't mind hearing more of it personally. This fight looks...not fun. Probably gonna sit this one out for awhile...maybe I'll try it eventually if I get Yakumo? Been trying to beat the final boss for Cerrine's AS quest and that is a doozy e_e I dunno though, maybe it's just me, I still haven't been through the new Main Story stuff but it feels like a lot of the newer bosses just really aren't fun to take on...I could be wrong. I've been doing something else I was also putting off and doing more Battle Simulator, having a lot of fun there busting out stuff like AS Myrus and AS Tiramisu. Lokido looks to have a bit more power and support for Blunt and Earth with this, definitely nice that he'll likely be relevant once more especially when more blunt support gets released
I agree with you.. except the last point. He becomes top tier DPS with this TM, unlike Ewan's / Laclair's😂 He will even outdamage Suzette TM A LOT with similar setup
Here i was wondering why i kept died with the 99999 damage even though i shielded with Radias AS. Thx for telling us why this happened, i was able to beat him with Yakumo, Iphi, Flammelapis AS and Radias AS. This true manifest fight was quite brutal and i am glad i managed to win this in the end. Also Lokido seems to be a real beast now with his true manifest. I got him to 200 Light now and can use a 4 grasta, wonder how much damage i can dish out with him.😅
Eyo I used a similar team comp as yours Gamer Dad (iphi and yakumo are a powerful duo lol)! Although I used AS Yipha for ultra buffs and AS Soira for tanking....but yeah, this manifest fight is a VERY hard fight, much harder than I expected 😞
Off the top of my head I'm thinking of using Azami AS, Yipha AS, Mistrare and Prai (or Radias AS) for this fight. Seems to be a good fit for Azami AS, could probably finish him in 3 - 5 turns - but this is just me brain storming
When I got the Jet Tactician I had a plan of using Minalca, Alter Shion, AS Nona, AS Radias and Kid with the Banish grasta to beat the boss I hated every minute of it but he did die eventually Edit : He only got his 9 debuff/buff aura on during the final part of the fight and Radias only used 1 or 2 Chivalry’s
what were they smoking when making this manfiest.......ok i get its true manifest but the amount of things lokido does just to counter you is so.....again ridiculous wth.
To be honest, I'd really like to have his NS 5* now. I think he is a pretty cool character and I was hyped when I sidegraded him to his AS when his AS manifest came out. Unfortunately I don't have his NS 5* although his true manifest looks ridiculous.
Biaka AS! Pain/Poison damage, not affected by increased defence. Iphi and Radias AS to help stay alive. Yipha AS to increase strength. Took a while though.
Honestly, without my OP team (Yakumo, Iphi, Radias AS and Shion Alter), I would be stuck in this fight forever. In my first attempt, I took him out too fast and I got instant deleted. This fight is just crazy
This is one of tough and fun true manifest fight, i hope future ones would be as hard or rather much harder than this. Team of Iphi, yakumo, yipha as radias as did it for me
The complexity of this fight took the fun out of it for me. I'm hoping they do not get much harder in the future for fear frustration drives me to quit the game.
I haven't managed to ACTUALLY playing for quite a long time so it was quite a spook to see how they punish u for fast kill i love their approach though since stall team is my favorite team and i feel rewarded for 255'd Uquaji after all these time
I did so many attempts of fighting this true manifest while I was livestreaming and I kept on losing every single time, even when I got so close to beating the true manifest battle! It's so difficult and it requires a lot of RNG and strategy. I'm also using the Iphi + Yakumo team comp and two other units to fill in the bill. But I might try using AS Cerrine and other blunt units to help in mitigating the fight. But as of now, I'm still trying to find ways of trying to beat the manifest weapon...
Sadly I've not pulled Yakumo yet, but I do not think that is beatable the elegance of Nekoko OG, Azami AS, Yipha As, Radias As (or a tank), in which one turn you strenght the team and the other buffs the delayed attack of Azami
Will, you said early on a wind team would be best. Ive tried using Suzette and cant get over 500k damage with 3 pain grastas, bulls eye, and a deadly blow in the 4th slot. I used Alt Suzette for a zone setter. You know what maybe I should put with them to make a better team? I use AS Radius for damage mitigation. Ive tried this team with flam, yakumo, iphi, and alt shion for a week and get killed everytime. Anyway, i think you lucked out on this one, rng isn't in my favor this week, lol.
Physical wind teams are difficult unless you use RCF to boost wind/debuff resistance. This fight was a nightmare due to physical and type resist. Otherwise magic is the way to go. Again make sure you don’t put too many buffs/debuffs on the enemy. Good luck!
Was also wondering why I was one shotted despite using prai/radiasAS to tank 😂 Had to look up your video and i feel its just really petty for them to think of this but creative at the same time thanks to power creep. Finished him off with yakumo,iphi,yiphaAS and radiasAS. Didnt really look at my setup but i think about 3 grasta share for yakumo only. But even with this team my yipha and radias died at the last hp stopper and i saved tetras reincarnation to revive everyone. So kinda cheese still.
So happy Lokido getting more love. Now I hope he get an ES and AS true manifest next. My clear was breezy using Wind team with Kumo for mp regain. The boss not having a permanent damage boost make him extremely vulnerable to banish + stall. Have Zeviro AS at the start and swap him out to AS Yipha (Wind zone) for easy -30% Physical resist to counter the boost the enemy get from the 9 buff thing with Zeviro's Dread. Zeviro AS is really underrated for all these "Boosted defense aura" content with how you don't really need to use him after turn 1 to get his debuff effect on any team. The 4 frontline are Soira AS (With banish grasta), Yipha AS, ES Tsukiha and AS Mistrare. Boost AS Mistrare with Yipha AS and have ES Tsukiha boost the team crit damage and reduce piece res and wind res. AS Soira use banish during AF turn to get rid of Lokido pwr bump and just spam her usual thing to tank for the team. AS Mistrare just sing Lokido to death with her wind song nuking for more than enough damage when it's stacked and you never have to worry about dying as long as you banish him when he starts getting 2 PWR Stack which is very easy with how you can AF every 2 turns.
I haven't tried it yet, but I was thinking Iphi, Yakumo, Milsha AS and Radius AS. Milsha AS has that hold ground effect so not sure if it will mitigate that one shot team kill. It's worth a try I can't really say if it does or not yet, but I think with that team it should work. If not can always wait a turn like you mentioned to bypass it. Radius AS chivalry move takes all the damage so if she dies Iphi revives her. If you don't have Radius AS or Iphi use revive grasta on one of your units with someone like Prai. It's not an easy fight, but it is manageable trust me.
@@l-burna5875 I do trust you, but it's not a case of having the right way to tank it - if Lokido is killed on the turn after he revives (or on turn one of the fight), the resulting 9999999 damage attack or however large it is will go through anything that could potentially tank it and cannot be stopped. It's intentionally there to stop the fight from lasting as long as he has HP stoppers, though funnily enough that's not why I'm struggling with the fight at the moment.
@@Antifrost ohhh yeah you're right sorry just misunderstood. I was chipping away at him instead of just af bursting him down on turn one. It's actually better to avoid using the af gauge to get around that. This vid actually helped me a ton by giving a heads up on what would happen like you mentioned if you kill him right away with an af burst on turn one. If you got a good debuffer or can remove his buffs this helps out as well, but yeah I agree with what you said.
This one was hard. I hope it will not be the norm for manifest battles, because those auras were sick. I got it done with AS Radias, AS Yipha, ES Mariel, and AS Azami. It took me 9 turns though.
This fight was brutal. I'm sure using wind and earth is the best play, but I was too stubborn to change my magic team, so AS Radias had to tank all the hits and survive the aoe, Tetra was my Iphi replacement. I'll probably go back and do this fight with a wind team, I'm sure it would be less painful than brute forcing it
Okay, that aura is heavy hard but I GOT him! It's has take turn or more until three times then take once more turn to hit the first stopper to finish him.
@@dskynet112the AOE counter on the 3rd phase has huge damage cause he got the big pow buff. You need to reset all the buff or use another tank like Prai

I used AS Azami with a team and strategy I found on You Tube. It was super easy to understand and replicate. Plus the video was funny. "I am Azami, prepare to die!" Followed by the joy of seeing her take down his full bar with one blow. Multiple times.
As usual, not one strategy on TH-cam works when I try it. I used this strategy and after a couple turns it went to zero damage, this morning I got through several bars of HP and he just keeps healing. I dont think its a set amount of HP bars though, it seems like I went through more than that and it healed, but I could be wrong since I wasnt counting. I lasted 21 turns though.
@@WilMakGamerDad oh ok, this might have been what threw me off, I was thinking it was the debuffs you put on him, but its actually the buffs on you like the ones that raise power and crit right? I need to go through and calculate each turn I think, there's something I'm not doing right here.
The clears we see on TH-cam are often totally dependent on specific grasta, weapons, armor, badges, or nowadays the character's light/shadow. I check all those before attempting to replicate. Even then there is the issue of RNG or my not being able to play piano as well. Still there have been times when I match everything and get a very different result. Oh, and nowadays you also need to check for sidekicks and their equipment. On the plus side I have learned a lot from digging to find out why I couldn't replicate a clear.
@@motherofchaosI think there's more to it than that. I always replicate them exactly with the exception that my light/shadow is usually much higher (I have some over 200 with most at 80 or 120, I put lots of money in the game and use my trials from the subscriptions on my most powerful units like Eva). The only thing I haven't been able to replicate exactly is weapons and armor, people always have one or two pieces I don't have, but I usually top their light and shadow and match grastas and badges exactly.
I keep dying... Any advice on HOW to kill Lokido True manifest??? I KEEP DYING!!.... i managed to kill him 3 fkng times but he resurrects before he nukes me with 999999999. I tried to avoid that by killing him in odd turns so that he dosnt dies consecutively... But then i lack DPS... I tried to make a wind team with Veina, Tsukiha, Azami, Sesta, Lokido and Claude. I have ALter Shion so i can maybe try use Paper Tiger. But i dont have any of those characters you used.
The trick to this fight is that after killing 1 HP bar, you have to wait 1 turn before taking down another HP bar. And you can't do it turn 1. But as the fight extends he will buff himself too. Hope this helps.
I kind of hate the auras that punish you for stacking too many buffs/debuffs. Its just counterintuitive to the game mechanics? Like, why bother upgrading grastas and equipment if it just puts you at a disadvantage? And for those that can't put out enough DPS without stacking buffs, they can't even debuff the enemy to do a battle of attrition. Its frustrating. I hope they'll stop going down this direction but I dont think they will. Edit: Just finished the fight with a team of Alter Shion/Necoco AS/Yakumo/AS Radias + Kumos. Despite not looking at auras or counting buffs/debuffs at all, the fight went shockingly smooth. Only died on the 1st attempt because I forgot to apply Chivalry in the final phase. Despite being an ironically easy fight, I don't feel too pleased- I can't imagine trying to do this without Yakumo/ some unit that ignores DEF. Thanks for the guide though! Without it, I would definitely have been blindsided by the 99999 damage thing. Guides like you provide such a good counter to the increasingly complex mechanics of the game. Hope your finger's better by now :)

If you're still looking for a team to beat this Manifest Weapon, I would recommend an AS Azami setup by Bluffing Phoenix.

Thankfully the upgrade is excellent. Might be the best earth fist character we have for now.

Yes the newer manifest fights are difficult but pretty unique with their counters!

Nothing mitigates the one-shot kill. Not Hold Ground, not Guard, not Cover, not Blood Contract, not even Thunderbolt. If it activates, you lose.

You can’t bypass it with AS Radias, it’s like the Land Avatar. You have to avoid triggering it

You need to debuff (or have Hold Ground) to survive most HP stopper counterattacks nowadays.

It should be 4 bars total (last one has multiple HP stoppers). If you give too many buffs it’ll shield more and you’ll do 0 damage

Oh, and nowadays you also need to check for sidekicks and their equipment. On the plus side I have learned a lot from digging to find out why I couldn't replicate a clear.
@@motherofchaosI think there's more to it than that. I always replicate them exactly with the exception that my light/shadow is usually much higher (I have some over 200 with most at 80 or 120, I put lots of money in the game and use my trials from the subscriptions on my most powerful units like Eva). The only thing I haven't been able to replicate exactly is weapons and armor, people always have one or two pieces I don't have, but I usually top their light and shadow and match grastas and badges exactly.
I keep dying... Any advice on HOW to kill Lokido True manifest??? I KEEP DYING!!.... i managed to kill him 3 fkng times but he resurrects before he nukes me with 999999999. I tried to avoid that by killing him in odd turns so that he dosnt dies consecutively... But then i lack DPS... I tried to make a wind team with Veina, Tsukiha, Azami, Sesta, Lokido and Claude.
I have ALter Shion so i can maybe try use Paper Tiger. But i dont have any of those characters you used.
The trick to this fight is that after killing 1 HP bar, you have to wait 1 turn before taking down another HP bar. And you can't do it turn 1. But as the fight extends he will buff himself too. Hope this helps.

I kind of hate the auras that punish you for stacking too many buffs/debuffs. Its just counterintuitive to the game mechanics? Like, why bother upgrading grastas and equipment if it just puts you at a disadvantage? And for those that can't put out enough DPS without stacking buffs, they can't even debuff the enemy to do a battle of attrition. Its frustrating. I hope they'll stop going down this direction but I dont think they will.
Edit: Just finished the fight with a team of Alter Shion/Necoco AS/Yakumo/AS Radias + Kumos. Despite not looking at auras or counting buffs/debuffs at all, the fight went shockingly smooth. Only died on the 1st attempt because I forgot to apply Chivalry in the final phase. Despite being an ironically easy fight, I don't feel too pleased- I can't imagine trying to do this without Yakumo/ some unit that ignores DEF. Thanks for the guide though! Without it, I would definitely have been blindsided by the 99999 damage thing. Guides like you provide such a good counter to the increasingly complex mechanics of the game. Hope your finger's better by now :)
