Amazing track on an obscure French label at the time this remix. I love Hardfloor and saw them play live once in the Netherlands they teared the roof off the place. Oliver Bondzio en Ramon Zenker just 2 normal guys with a shitload of electronics....good stuff !
Ah remember ROCKING this in the 90's, I was 18 back then, it got revived with Paul Taylor Retro @Tall Trees - of which his CD is in my car. One of those tingle choons even when youre clean as a whistle. Im glad I experienced these dance anthems in crowds who knew how to give it some :)

In a small basement with minimal lighting and the right people.
And today on 22th of may 2020 he died. He was sick.and needed treatment. Due to travel restrictions by the corona virus, he could not get the treatment he needed. Original version of Yeke Yeke was made in 1987. Hardfloor remix was made in 1994.
Rest in Peace.
SCALITY.. very sad that he could not travel to France or somewhere for treatment. He made lot of people happy with this song, myself in particular as a child dancing with my parents in our living roon

I was 9 Year's old when this track come out, dad got this on Vinyl, I'm 34 Now.
Lucky for me and the brothers he taught us all about Vinyl.

I couldn't be absolutely positive when the Hardfloor* remix came out, but Yeke Yeke was tearing up clubs in 1990/91 and possibly earlier.
I can be 100% certain on it being no later than '91.
The original was released in 1984, but it might have taken a few years to build traction.
*1994 is being strongly suggested as the release year of the Hardfloor remix.
