I love Bee so much. I would not want to buy dupe perfumes of Zoologist because it is not one of those big houses, and I don't mind buying dupes of big, mass-produced perfumes, but I do feel bad about ripping off perfumes from small niche and indie houses, and I think it's important to support them and the artists.
@@SarahMayes I read that the margin on perfumes are about 90% minus marketing etc. Since zoologist doesn't do any big time marketing I'd be cool with buying dupes. I don't see any moral issue with not being okay with somebody selling you something with that large of a profit, when there's others who sell it to you for a fair price. Everybody has his own opinion though
Gallagher Frags Baclava is a gorgeous scent as well. Deep dry down is a lighter hued honey, e.g. orange blossom honey or clover honey. No p**y smell either, like some honey frags.
Yeah...I really didn't think anyone could truly clone bee either. BUT, even if it gets you 80% there its gotta be an awesome fragrance! So, I am still happy I ordered a bottle of Andromeda Moon's version - especially because I am excited to test them side by side for myself now! It hasn't arrived yet but I am patiently waiting...Thank you for taking the time to find these houses and do the research for us...xoxo
Honey sometimes turns animalic on my skin so I am often reluctant to try honey scents yet Zoologist Bee captured me. It was not a love at first sniff but over time grew on me and became one of my favs.The broom is so stunning & unique it is prob my favorite aspect of Bee. Bee also has this distinct ginger opening that is super unique... I agree, a masterpiece, Sarah! Thx for reviewing I will buy the A.M sample!
I just made an order last night after watching videos of yours and Janelle Zamoras’s. I put it off because it kind of seems expensive for a dupe house, but then most dupe houses seem expensive to me. AM makes designed scents, and many of the originals can be had for far less. Anyway, the way people rave about it kind of sucked me in. That and the discount. I got samples of certain perfumes I’ve always wanted to smell, so hopefully it will scratch that itch and give me an idea of what they smell like. And if I truly love something, I may eventually get a full size or at least a 15 ml. I’m trying pure xs, portrait of a lady and alien among other things. Those are three I’ve been curious about for so long! I’m also trying a couple of their originals. I love comparison videos like this one!
Now I wish that I bought a sample of Bee! I ordered 2 samples from Zoologist which are in my Christmas stocking. Macaque Fuji Apple and Snowy Owl. This house appears to be very divisive so I wanted to start with two samples. AND I am psyched as I have full size Kilian Angel's Share and Byredo De Los Santos under the tree!! Next year I am ordering Bee- it sounds really, really special.
Bee is one of my favourite fragrances as well. I adore a rich honey note. Bee by Ellis Brooklyn is another really nice, but more mellow honey fragrance, not at all a dupe for the Zoologist Bee. If you haven't tried Chopard Miel d'Arabie, it is another amazing honey fragrance worth sampling. It's rich and complex like Zoologist, but a very different fragrance.
I have and love Bee, but I can’t wear it too frequently or my brain starts JUST picking up in the broom note and all the other notes just become muddy and vague in the background. I’ve figured out that I have to have about two weeks between wears to avoid that from happening. It’s a weird wearing experience/phenomenon that I don’t think I’ve had with any other perfume. But I still love Bee as long as I wear it infrequently, which, I have plenty of fragrances so it’s not a problem.
I have 2 Zoologist Bee samples which I adore. I'll do one spray on the back of the neck because I want to be so sparing with it. I personally dislike K K Pure Honey and Ellis Brooklyn Bee. Bee is just too special to dupe! 😆 The other Zoologist fragrance I like is Snowy Owl. 💛

I love Andromeda’s Moon Bee clone but I’m hesitant to order from them again? I’m not a huge fan of Kk’s honey Perfume… any other clones you could recommend???? I have TokyoMilk’s Honey and the Moon and love it but the longevity isn’t that great.
Hi Love! The Andromedas Moon is definitely the best I have found but I totally understand not wanting to order again. I don’t think I will either. I think Generic has a clone if you don’t mind an oil. ❤️🥰
I really wish zoologist Fragrances we're less expensive. The bottles are so beautiful and different. But I just can't justify spending 50/80 dollars for a single ounce

I have not tried Bee...yet. But I got a sample of Slowdive by Hiram Green. And its pricey but also very beautiful and life like.

To me, an inspired parfum is just that, an inspired inspiration, and that helps me enjoy at a different level :) 😀
