The bungy harness is a good idea. You could combine it with a clamp on side handle to control the twist in the coil. Looking forward to seeing the finds start coming up! Cheers.....
That's a beast Cleggy .Good start . Maybe an harness similar to what you would have on a petrol Grass/brush cutter Then you just balance it some where in the middle ,I bet you already have one . 😉👍
Nice big coil, but is it practical? Like your positive approach and enthusiasm. Somewhere along the line I see you attaching this construction on to a quad bike and driving over the land. Just a thought. Wishing you best of finds Cleggy.
Looks like fun! As it is so light maybe have some extra pole so that it comes out the otherside of the hand grip with a small weight on - with the shoulder strap idea it would then in effect weigh nothing..hope that makes sense, just balance it at the strap point. Good luck
Small design flaw, would it not be more helpful if the coil came off a curved section of shaft to the bolt, that way it would be parallel to the ground with less effort.
Hi, I have the Lorenz deepmax x6 I don't know if the settings are the same, with small coils I recommend the GND to 2, the filter and the frequency you modify them according to the disturbances you have in the field where you work the sensitivity also, with large coils GND at 3 you will have maximum sensitivity the rest you modify it as above,I hope I was helpful
You every tied that detector on beach ?? , just wondering I have used PI detectors on beach, just wondering how good that particular metal detector is . Appreciate the information. Cheers

Cool, thanks
Yes Cleggy, I think the harness idea is what you need to do matey. If you get it balanced 'just right' then it'll be Happy Days! for sure... 👊 💪 Bobby
Good luck whit your big baby 😮 what a machine💪

Hi Cleggy I think you should try a weight counterbalance at the rear. You may find it easier to swing, it should balance in your hand kev
Bless you cleggy, Very keen on this latest contraption, Looks good so far. Hope you get lucky, Il have one the day following 😁👍
If you had a spare £300 could get a camera body stabilizer harness.. but not cheap.. looks impressive tho .
That is a brilliant idea, sort of a poor mans Steady Cam.
Top man! are you taking it to any digs like Detectival or Rodney Cook?

@@fabianwylie8707 no I have never used the Lorenz on the beach, for the beach there are cheaper metal detectors that have good performance.
@@patriziamarenzoni2363 , not worried about the expense, providing it’s deep in fine gold . My I ask is it waterproof?.
Thanks
@@fabianwylie8707 it is particularly sensitive to non-ferrous materials, the coil is waterproof but the control unit is not.
@@patriziamarenzoni2363 ,
Thanks for the information ✅👍
Dónde puedo comprar el cuadro ese tengo un Lorenz pero no tengo ese cuadro
DJI OSMO Action 3 it's less money and they work great. I use it for my videos
