So I'm going to explain what's going on with the lore basically the entire song deals with a toxic relationship that these five have going on, during the music video you could sense that there was something going on something was a bit off. The reason because of this is because the group had a promise to which three out of five of them broke. In the choreography we know that three of them broke the promise because two members had the pinky sign behind their back for the part where they turn around and soobin the guy with purple hair was singing. Three members have a crossed finger sign signaling they are the 3 that broke their promise. Beomgyu one of the members (he covered taehyun the one with red hair with a blanket to suffocate tae) we know that these two have a rivalry because when they were sitting around the table beomgyu threw a strawberry at tae pay attention the place where he threw the strawberry was at his heart signaling that beomgyu wants taehyun out. The reason he wants him out is because he is one of the members that is suspecting something is going on he's starting to catch up to what the other 2 are doing.
