Thanks, man, it is. I'm pretty sure that was the first time I ever read through Chapter 20. I read a lot of the Bible when I was younger, but I didn't remember King Abimelech. Pretty awesome story. Crazy how much Genesis ties into the entire Bible and up to today.
Thanks, TKondwa. I pray I can finish the whole Bible. Definitely going to take some time, but man, it’s pretty awesome getting to do this. Just got to find a way to do it faster.
That's awesome! You may have already found it but I have a copy without English you can use. It's in a Google drive at the bottom of the link on the channel. There are several others translating. Working on putting together a group chat for all the translators. A friend from Russia suggested we have a place we could help each other. I'll let you know when we get it up and running.
I love this channel! Keep going. I have 2 suggestions: 1. Is there a possibility that the characters can keep their facial appearance? 2. Maybe to introduce another up to date translation so that people can understand the Bible. The KJV served people well, but 1611 language is a long time ago and few people speak like this in today’s life. God meets people where they are and speaks a language that they can understand. Just a thought! Thanks for all your hard work. Much appreciated!
Thank you. As of right now (as far as I know), there is no way to keep consistent facial appearances using the software I am using. As soon as there is, that will definitely be the first thing I change. Getting the general look consistent is something that is fairly new. I would love to do this in an updated translation. I use the NIV in every chapter to help me understand the verses. I don’t speak 1600s English like most people either, lol. However, updated translations like the NIV are copyrighted by their publishers and for something like what I am doing, I am not allowed to use over 500 verses. Although the KJV is still owned by the Crown and still needs permission to be used in the UK, it has passed the 100-year copyright laws in the US and the rest of the developed world. As of right now the KJV is my only option. I have heard you can purchase the rights from the publisher, but I do not have the means to do that just yet. Thank you agin, hopefully things will change down the road. I would love to change both of your suggestions.
Hey Albertine, wow, thanks for watching all of them. I am working on Chapter 21 this week. With my work schedule, I am only able to do a chapter a week right now. Hopefully, that will change soon.
