This is why I love ACE SPECs so much - they make up almost a third of this video's runtime. They are just so interesting and have been balanced so well that almost _all_ of them are viable to some degree somewhere. Easily my favourite singleton mechanic. As someone who doesn't play and so genuinely doesn't know the answer to this, I wonder how good Comp Search would be were it to come back in this day and age. Universal search is always a really fun effect to have access to, but I've no clue how that card would compete with the other ACE SPECs we have nowadays. Would it be on par with the likes of Prime Catcher and Unfair Stamp, or would it be a bit more niche?
I actually think with so much consistency in this format the power cards of stamp and prime probably see more play in a lot of decks Lugia would kill for comp search tho!!

As a gouging fire enjoyer, "clunky garbage" hurts so much but yet is so true 😢 It's a bummer how it's only really playable in expanded with the fire support and volcanion for big damage increase Also with twilight masquerade it's only getting worse with dragapult and kieran boost, radiant alakazam moving damage counters and the monkey getting damage to your board 😅
I know /s but I raise you the last 3 years of November sets lol. Tempest killed the format with lugia, fusion killed the format with mew, vivid voltage actually the worst set. Be incredibly grateful pokemon is fun right now

Its a bit rough that most of the new stuff ended up being too slow or mid, feel bad for gouging fire, gengar ect
