    ❤❤❤❤❤We need some root vegetable stamps and moulds and transfers for fall. Very rustic with some roots on them like they were freshly plucked from the garden. It amazes me the products you have created for us to be so creative with. Im always thinking i wish i had them and then i remember you always read the comments and maybe if i dream enough and leave a comment it will be something you both might create one day and of course so beautifully. I just love the whimsical look of root vegetables and making stamped signs with root veggie transfers or stamps or mould and stamping veggies for sale maybe a dollar and cent stamp in the next font stamp or a farmers market stamp with a dollar and cent stamp with produce so we can make produce signs. Sorry for the long message but i just get soooooo excited with the endless possibilities❤❤❤❤❤

    I have found that primer on the resin pieces makes a world of diffference when applying paint. Thanks for sharing this tutorial.

    If you often use resin on the moulds, it is important to treat them with silicone oil afterwards because resin is very aggressive and can destroy the moulds. The only thing you have to do is clean the cast parts with a little detergent so that the applied paint does not chip off.

    Thank you for the tutorial! I've never used epoxy nor casting resin. I've wanted to try it but afraid I wouldn't do it correctly....I really appreciated this video. I will be trying my hand at it today

    I loved all of it! I’m new to resin but enjoy working with it. Made a mess of my first try. I stirred too long. Actually, I only stir about 15 seconds or until it starts turning clearer. Thank you so much for the video.

    Can you use the iron on method with liquid patina?
    I love decoupaging or using rub on transfers on book stacks.
    I prefer resin to clay in the moulds. It doesn’t shrink/crack.
    Great tutorial!!!

      I haven’t tried it. I’m afraid it may not work as well as we’re use to because the paper on the books absorb so much. Worth a shot though with some scraps. Let me know if you try it. ❤️

    Nice...tip...clear wax willl remove the gold wax

    • @ruthandruby
      @ruthandruby  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I tried and it didn’t take it off because the gilding wax is oil based. I should’ve clear coated it first I think.

    Wonderful. Tks. How do you clean the cup?

    • @ruthandruby
      @ruthandruby  ปีที่แล้ว

      It peels out of the mixed cup but the other two, it never dries because I use them so much 🤣 but you could wipe them out with paper towels.
