archers played well and likely deserved to win, but it's absolutely inexcusable that the game-winning goal of the championship game only counted because of a late start to the shot clock. PLL has to be better if it wants to be taken seriously as a professional sports league
@@benjaminrohrbacher9286 But it happens in the PLL ALL THE TIME. Not sure if it is because they are a touring league and maybe don't have the same clock operators at every location, but their off-field officials need to get a lot better. Don't know how many times this season I saw a goal called back because the shot came AFTER the shot clock expired but BEFORE the horn was sounded.
@@lancegoulet8100 I can't disagree that that shits always a bummer for the fans to see, and probably even moreso for the players, I haven't seen it happen in regular season play but I'll bet you watched more than me. I only caught about 5 total games all year, including the semi finals and finals, so you're probably right. But I guess I am just giving the benefit of the doubt because of the changing locations
You always have to allow the human element, in any sport, which is.......anytime humans are officiating, shit happens. I'm new to lacrosse, but I like it a lot.
When the very first PLL season started it was right after my senior year of highschool. I watched every single Archers game, and every year since I've been waiting for them to finally get that championship. On my old account I used to comment after every single video of the Archers was uploaded and now I want to do the same for this. Let's fuckin go Archers. You deserve this. 🏹🏹🏹🎯🎯🎯🥍
Can’t have irreversible shot clock errors that change the tide of the game at any level in the PLL, but in the championship? Huge bummer to end a great game/season like that
The PLL really needs to get better off-field officials. Archers game winning goal was scored when they had a 40 second possession on a 32 second shot clock. I don't know how many times this season I saw a goal get called back when the shot was taken well before the horn sounded, but well after the shot clock expired. How hard is it to get shot clocks that have a buzzer that sounds when they get to 0 - just like in every NBA, College, High School and MOST middle school basketball gyms? Of course that does not solve the problem of people NOT starting the clock on the whistle.
Yeah apparently😒 Love the archers, but that’s not the way to win. I love Schreiber too, but it felt scripted and leaned towards him. That was ridiculous…… changed the outcome of the game.
It's a tough situation. You can't really take the goal away because the clock started late. The Archers' run their offense based on how much time they see on the clock. The shot was a "buzzer beater" taken BECAUSE the clock was winding down, but would it have come 5 seconds earlier if the clock has started on time. Still PLL off-field officials were horrible all year. They have has issues with the shot clock since the league started.
Archers finally taking it home. Congrats!
Yes dawg!
Yeahhhhhh

It sounds like it should have been a time clock violation. That’s pretty lame.
Yeah and the NFL has never had a clock issue in a major games it happens, it's a bummer, but it's the way the point played
