I don’t know where to start. This is one of my favourite Black Sabbath song and so personal cos of the lyrics.. Actually i do not like any covers of this song but King Witch brutally nailed it. Ronnie left his soul to us who loved his musical genius and LAURA IS PHENOMENAL! The first Sabbath full album I have ever heard was the Heaven & Hell by my Dad. He turned 70 this year and 35 years passed and I am 39 already. The Vinyl was a fake Yugoslavian print at the time. Behind the iron curtain in Hungary it was almost impossible to get a real copy of the album. I loved this song at first feel and this feeling remained ever since.. I’m proud of your country and 5 years ago i left everything behind me and settled in Edinburgh. (This cover is super brilliant so I had to share my personal story with you) Thank you King Witch! OMFG, it's like Odin and a Valkyrie had a child and lordy can she sing! Props to the entire band, such a tight cover and very wonderful personal flourishes all throughout, this was killer!
Today on Sirius Liquid Metal they did a whole hour of Dio covers! This was on it and some other good choices. Whoever put it together did their homework and picked nothing but good ones, no Cookie Monster vocals with blast beats junk like what’s on that channel a lot.
My fave song, they killed it! Remodeling my garage and have this on repeat lol. Maybe I'm wrong but would love to hear them do all along the watch tower 🤔
Impressive. I was very wary going in with them doing such an iconic song (and still think Lady Evil or Walk Away, maybe Wishing Well, would've been a better choice) but it was very well executed. And I think it was a good idea, in this song's case, to stick as close to the original as possible. Great job. Love to hear some originals.
The video production is superb, and makes me think how many hours of recording, mixing and editing to produce 6 minutes of high quality Music Video. Great job Laura and Team. Next Time I am allowed to travel to Edinburg, I would like to meet the band, and perhaps play with you guys!
