LOVE this curriculum! My absolute favorite. Tackling the Primer with my Kindergarten and 3rd grader at the same time this year. I know its kindergarten based but my older reads the wonder tales to my younger as a part of her character training -patience lol . She also does grade level Math, Phonics and Latin so its just a little break for her while letting her enjoy simpler things. We are also doing their Nature levels 1 this year.
I honestly thought they only had stuff for younger kids!!! This looks awesome!!! We love to study a book of the bible with my older kids and this looks awesome!!!
I love the vibrant colors used but I do wish more areas were offered in black and white for printing. Our printer is only black and white and we end up using a lot of ink without getting the pretty colors . I do believe their Christmas unit offered an older version with less color but I ordered the print bundle for that. The autumn unit I only ordered digital because it is already November and we wanted to start immediately. I copied images for the art study just for reference and we will look for the actual paintings with color elsewhere but most of the pages are so beautiful and printing without color does take away from it and uses a lot of ink. Just wanted to share if people are debating on digital or print and only have a b&w printer. I usually pick which pages to print to save ink and just reference back to download when needed. Like the crafts pages. Lots of color but you can easily just look at download online. However everything offered is amazing. Especially the cost. So much is free or fairly inexpensive when compared with other curriculums. We don't necessarily use same books unless we have them or can utilize the library. Some of my kids have used AO for so many years so we have many books from AO plus other curriculum and just a lot of books for fun . I would add more books if we had more money and Space. So sometimes we just use what we have.
